Below is a story of the Sunflower taken from my cousin Keith's webpage I

Every year, Keith grows acres and acres of Sunflowers that are just beautiful
to see while walking or driving by his home! The Sunflower naturally faces
the sun as it opens. Keith's neighbor across the street came to him and
asked why his own Sunflowers he planted didn't face the road like Keith's
did. They faced the mountain instead, and no one could enjoy the full value
of the Sunflower while driving by. Keith told him he planted them
backwards. LOL (there is much symbolism in this story!)
For anyone that wants to plant their own Sunflower garden, Keith will send
you enough seeds for a 10X10 plot if you would like. Write him, not me!

THE EMBLEM OF SPIRITUALISM.... ONE TINY SEED IS PLACED IN THE DARK OF MOTHER
EARTH, IT IS WATERED BY RAIN FROM HEAVEN, BLESSED BY GOD, AND OFTEN GROWS AS
TALL AS SIX FEET, JUST LIKE MAN.
WHEN THEY BECOME MATURE AND IN HARVEST SEASON, SO RICH FROM GODS

THE MAIN STALK IS STRONG WHICH IS THE LIFE CENTER AND OFTEN HAS SEVEN
BRANCHES OR TWIGS SYMBOLIZING THE SEVEN DAYS OF THE WEEK. ALSO,IT HAS TWELVE
GREEN LEAVES REPRESENTING THE TWELVE MONTHS OF THE YEAR.
THE BRANCHES OFTEN HAVE THREE NICE SUNFLOWERS SYMBOLIZING THE BLESSED
TRINITY. EACH FLOWER HAS 52 GOLDEN YELLOW PETALS , WHICH REPRESENTS THE 52
WEEKS OF THE YEAR IN THE CENTER OF THE YELLOW FRAME OF PETALS ARE 365 SEEDS
REPRESENTING OUR CALENDAR YEAR.
EACH MORNING THE SUNFLOWER FACES THE RISING SUN TO THE EAST ,AS TO SAY, GOOD
MORNING GOD.
