Rik, at the end of the post you'll find an example of how to create a tool
to get rid of tools :)
My "slogan" always has been " Self-reliance is the highest virtue". However,
there is one issue not cleared as I never experienced it. It is the
presence of blocks, pain, "strange" side-effects etc., brought to the
surface by K. Being a little more than a year on several lists, I could
observe that one's knowledge / opinion never presented one's entire
perspective. There always is an "extra" to an emotional expression and it
becomes very clear in so called flame-wars.
The observation has led me to assume, that many if not all of us, are
bearing inner sores from early youth on. If something is perceived as
'against' one, the interpretation is one is hurt again and one will react
accordingly, not being aware of the old sore that is causing one to react
that way. Of course the spectrum goes from healed wounds to sores. If one
doesn't become aware of the sores, they will come to the surface during K.
awakening and can (at least temporarily) make the awakening or part of it to
a hell.
In terms of energy, the 'old sores' are sucking up quite a bit and apart
from that, they could be responsible for the less pleasant side-effects of
K. One is that intuition, normally experienced as direct knowledge, will be
perceived as voices, angels etc. If after a curve there is a pile up, I know
before I see the pile-up and react accordingly - always thought that was
normal.
So an addition to the toolkit is being mindful of one's emotional state when
communicating; it will give a possible clue to a sore that hasn't been
attended to, slowing down K. and dimming joy.
I escaped from sores due to being too resourceful for my parents to handle
:) so I can't offer a general remedy; only the method of stopping to smoke.
I trained the mind to remember vomiting caused by the first cigarette, each
time I would light up one. It proved to be very effective; within a week the
habit dropped spontaneously :)
