Greetings,
K-list 151, finally a roller coaster ride that I could relish! I knew if I
kept reading someone was going to mention "fun"...thanks Angelique....and
then to have a neat review from Nancy of the movie "Pleasantville," wow! I,
too, think it offers tremendous insight into the human condition. Friends
eyeballs pop when I told them this movie is my life view. (She's really
weird...it didn't even win an academy award...duh!) I wish they'd show it in
all the schools!!!!
And, Nancy, didn't you just love "God"...(I think his name is Andy Knotts
from the old Andy Griffith show)...what a great sense of humor throughout a
very serious movie wrought with wisdom for those who wanted to see other than
black and white!

Well, I had that happen...in the form of a voice as clear a bell. I told the
voice thank you, but my brand new friend was in need, so I and my protesting
husband went forth in the wee hours of the morning. The car accident
happened, after picking the friend up from jail where she had been drying
out. The car was totalled, I ended up with just enough of a physical problem
to set my whole life in a wonderful new direction...including my first out of
the body experience.
I was very glad my guardian angel forewarned me....they are so dear, and
dearer still in that they help us to see it is always us doing things. I can
just imagine, if I hadn't been knowingly willing to accept the results of my
actions...all possible results, how I easily could have railed at God, my
friend, my husband, myself. I would have mispercieved everything that
followed, felt victimized, and blocked the new growth.
So, to me, Astrology and other systems are checkpoints. In fact, just before
I read the post, I made arrangements to get a chart update from a most
unusual man...a life-after-deather who is out of sight mystical. I love
interacting with "unseen intelligences" (new listing in Psychology diagnosis
to handle all the "normal" people who are doing channeling, having visions,
etc.)
And, yes, there is a liberating book that does combine numerology and
astrology, Wisdom of the Ancients. ***********************
My favorite expression, is "God helps those who help themselves". I remember
when I went through a period where it was so important to keep people from
doing the wrong thing, thank Goddess, that didn't last too long! Now, I have
given myself permission to do any and all things...all of the time, some of
the time...spiralling in and out. (Co-creators training program!)
Finally, I have been very involved with shamanism, and have seen various
tools help people, when they knew nothing about the tool. One fellow felt
all his hepatitis leaving his body when I placed a certain cloth over his
abdomen while doing Reiki. I then went outside, disposed of the cloth in a
special way, while he was resting. He never saw it.
The next day, I put a regular washcloth over his stomach as an experiment.
The following day, he asked, "You put something different on me the first
night, didn't you? It was incredible. The second night, the cloth had no
presence." He had had Reiki in the past, and could discern differences
between the functions of the Reiki and the two cloths.
I mention this, because when I have asked others what is the relationship of
my consciousness with everything else that is or is not, the
people--especially shamans who are having the most results in reaching
others, always tell me "Keep an open mind. Don't underestimate yourself or
the Divine."
Of course, I truly see all as One, it is just the proportions of me and It
that shift and kinda *kunda*dance*. Namaste,
