I was just lurking, hoping for this moment...............
Remember what I posted so many moons ago:
Hermann Hesse once said, 'Problems are not there in order to be solved: they
are merely the poles between which life's necessary tensions can arise.' The
solution lies beyond polarity - yet in order to get there it is necessary to
unite the poles and reconcile the opposites. This difficult art of uniting
the opposites can be mastered only by those who have fully acquainted
themselves with both poles. One then has to have the courage to experience
and integrate those poles. Solve et coagula, as the ancient texts have it -
release and bind. We have to start by differentiating, by experiencing
disunity and division, before we can venture onwards to the Great Work of
the Alchemical Wedding that is the union of the opposites. So it is that we
have first to descend deep into the polarity of the world of matter, into
physicality, illness, sin and guilt, in order to discover in the darkest
night of the soul, in the deepest despair and dis-traction, that light of
real-isation which enables us to see our path through suffering and torture
for what it is - a game pregnant with meaning that can help us find our way
back to where in reality we always were: in the Oneness itself.

And so through the discussion entitled "Karma and Astrology" we have reached
the same conclusion......
