Yes, I (Rik) recognize that quotation very well... ;)
While indeed I'd be quite happy to lend such 'wisdom'
to the minds of more believable utterers of such,
there seems to be some reason to offer to 'correct'
this possibly fortunate misattribution, even in this
delicate moment.
Given the ease of confusing identities on this email
forum, especially considering the numerous cases
of multiple personalities and those lacking of such,
I'd first like to point out, in case it means much
to anyone, that the physical being who writes
under the name 'Rik Wallace' (love_rikATnospamyahoo.com)
is still alive. Tho I have been continuing my daily
reincarnation exercise, I must have issues here, b/c
I keep coming back as the same person. Go figure.
Actually I am still much the same person I was when
I wrote the quoted text (under rik_wATnospamrocketmail.com -
my first k-list post, I believe), except that over
the past 1-1/2 yrs I have grown much more wise-assed.
I still do keep in touch with that old self, occasionally
sharing a good laugh over 'something you once said',
and I am pleased to once again meet up with him after
all these years, apparently doing quite well, having played
a respected role in the legacy of the deceased.
"no...there is another"... 'Ri*k' that is.
Of course, that's actually a quote from Yoda, speaking of
Leia's being another 'hope' b/c she's the Daughter of the Lord
(Vader). I ask, after Mr. Puravs, who is your next 'hope'?
Is it "me"? Or maybe, is it *YOU*?
To those of you who 'related' to Rick... The Force is with You,
always. He is a part of your spiritual blood, and that
part of you will never die.
So please let me express my sincere condolences and add,
"Long Live Rick".

rather than "BE-er". It's all part of reality, and part of the
God-quest is to embrace all perspectives. Consider Compassion...
the art of not judging from one's own perspectives but of absorbing
others'. Others' perspectives are no less valid, for they are as
real
as anyone elses. Embrace them as facets of your own. /end gripe
