Ya ...I'd love to stumble on some fleshy k-ites. The question of
superficiality and connecting is weighing heavily on my mind lately. I
attended a party at a friend's house last Friday and was sooooooooooooooo
bored...sports in one room...baby talk in the other (that's OK I love my
babies...but it was still boring)......

love...including my husband! But it's like...shit....I just can't sit here
for 3 hours and talk about the weather and pretend to enjoy it.....
My husband also thinks my interest in these topics is a might strange and we
have had a few "discussions" about it. For the most part now he just keeps
his mouth shut :)
Somtimes I feel really isolated. I teach dance for a living and find myself
connecting more with my older students (16-20)...than I do people my age
(30's). They are spontaneous, full of emotional turmoil..etc....and
FUNNY....I have to work hard to keep that fine-line student/teacher thing
going...but I do. I had one friend who was alot like me.....but she moved
away...snif snif....
OK everyone...be honest...
Am I just being a big, stuck-up old spiritual snob?
Whaddya think (Ya ya I know I'm not suppose to care what others think...but
I'm trying to gain some perspective here...)
