Pats words didn't resonate with me but they jogged me into a new thought.
People have different ways of connecting. I believe that I used him.
Through him, his loving me, through that nourishing, beautiful sense of
oneness that I periodically experienced with him, spawned for me a blisslife
full of vissions, spiritual knowings and I entertained a general awesome
reverence for the totality of life and a connectedness with the universal
consciousness. Despite the cylce of abuse, we periodically experienced a
twinkling, sparkling, spiritual connection (in the honeymoon phase) which
connected me with the source. I want to connect with the source myself.

Now that I am not plugged into my source, via him, I feel squashed, a
lifeless heap off bones, flesh and nerves, a fish flopping out of water. I
don't think I have ever known how to plug into the source myself. I know
how to do it through someone, as if using them as a connector. Are there
other types of connectors? How do I do it myself?
