I agree with your post in almost every way, and that occasionally the
fear that occurs while channeling is just your ego and fear self, for
that has happened to me, but also there are entities out there who are
dark forces, so I emphasize not fear but cautiousness when you willfully
channel another entity. Make sure it is what it says it is before you
let it in. An ounce of prevention is more than worth a pound of cure.
