Hi Dave,
Are you talking about Gospel of the Nazirenes? It's available on <http://www.amazon.com>www.amazon.com
It is an ancient text, which is older than the gospels written in the New Testament, and contains a more complete story of the Life of Jesus Christ. It tells the story of his childhood, for instance, and restores many ommitted references to Jesus' teachings on reincarnation and karma, and the fact that Jesus was an animal-lover and a vegetarian, believing that eating the flesh of innocent animals corrupts the body. This book contains a good deal of information on the authenticity of this text as well. Gospel of the Nazirenes contradicts various parts of the New Testament, such as stories of Jesus eating fish and chicken, which are fabrications, and the story of Jesus' birth is elaborated upon, which changes the meaning of immaculate conception. Upon reading this, you will find that many crucial parts of the stories in the New Testament were ommitted or changed to change the meaning of the story, and make people believe that Jesus was the only begotten son of God, etc. Jesus refers to himself as the first begotten son of God, and sets out to teach others The Way to enlightenment. He clearly states, as well, that his life is to be used as an example of The Way. Finally, Jesus himself predicts that the story of his life would be altered, and finally come to light again. The book is phenomenal.
Oh, and Jesus also stated that he was "storing his power" to be used for healing, rather than for sexual activity, and various other references which seem to refer to the chakras and kundalini, as well as outright reference to the "thread" of life, in the case of the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Jesus noted that once the thread of life is cut, there is no hope. When he got to the tomb, Jesus himself was not sure there was hope for Lazarus, because Lazarus had lain in the tomb for 4 days. It also appears from the story that Jesus had to wait 2 or 3 days before he could respond to people's pleas to help Lazarus. The story does not say why he waited, but by putting all this together, I am wondering if he had to build up his (kundalini) power.
