I thank one and all for your great replies to my earlier mails. I highly
appreciate your invaluable words of encouragement.

I would also like to share my thoughts on an issue. Yesterday, I had a
dream which showed me some beings connected to certain parts of my body,
being nourished with a dense thick white fluid - needless to say
connected to semen either of the physical body or of one of the subtle
bodies. In this connection, I of course know that semen serves as the
(only?) currency during Sadhana. I have read two accounts on the semen's
role in Sadhana. One is that there is a stage when the Sadhaka becomes
an Urdhvareta, in whom the semen travels upwards and nourish all the
K-centers including Sahasrara. Gopikrishna too vouched for this when he
said it happened to him physically. Muktananda also said the same about
it - semen physically flowing upwards; in case of women, it is the
equivalent of semen called Rajovirya which flows up. Sri Ramakrishna
told that if a man is celibate for 12 years, a new nerve gets created in
the body, which greatly helps in his spiritual pursuit. He also said
that because of the nocturnal dreams, one gets rid of the "bad part" of
the semen and the "good part" travels up. He also said that one who is
on the path, if loses his semen falls from his high state.

There is another account, which says that the semen is converted into
Rajas, which is not physical but subtle, which feeds the K-Centers.

Of course both accounts might be true simultaneously - one acts on the
physical body and each of the subtle bodies would be supported by its
corresponding Rajas.

Did anybody on this list personally undergo Urdhvareta or any related
experiences? If so, could you please share them with others on the list?
