Just yesterday I was re-reading Trungpa Rinpoche's "Cutting Through
Spiritual Materialism" (worth several re-reads, by the way) and
thinking about his emphasis on not resisting the darkness in life --
either internal or external. I went to the store and watched a large
man begging and haranguing folks who walked by without giving him
money. In the middle of his diatribe he said "THINK ABOUT IT!" and the
words went Zing in my head. I gave him a buck because I was so pleased
with the synchronicity! Holly
