Great having you here! Welcome!
With my K awakening, I have literally learned to cope with life... I spent a
lifetime in depressions, having no control over my life; my emotional,
physical, mental, and spiritual life were totally unbalanced. I coped thru
taking (legal) drugs, and when I didn't have them, I stayed depressed.
Everyone took care of me my whole life - as I went from my parents house, left
at 17 to a (miserable) marriage of 23 years. Got on my own and couldn't cope.
The only way to turn was in. Which in turn, awakened my K.
Since my K, I am off drugs, I have balanced my mental, emotional and spiritual
life, and am now working on my physical, bringing some form of discipline into
my life that I never learned before. This last one was extremely tough for me
to face, but I've been real busy balancing out the other areas of my life as I
saw that my sanity was most important. I saved the worst for last. :-)
I'm out on my own again for the last 7-8 months while bringing my physical
life into balance... willing to look at whatever comes my way and face it.
This is all new to me, facing these things! I see myself screw up, make
mistakes, and now I can laugh at them and learn from them. It's quite
fasinating to watch. Oy vay, the stories I could tell...
<My own perspective on this is that I came back here to learn the lessons
which I
did not learn in my previous lives, and therefore the connection with my
spirit is a means to an end and not an end in itself.
I think this is true!
<As I have developed what I hope is a deeper consciousness of the
interconnectivity of humanity so I have found myself better able to face and
appreciate the traumas and joys of my life.
