Family is presently keeping me happily busy, so I enjoy being a
lurker on the list. A while ago I wrote a short article on Suniata vs.
Sublime love.
Suniata vs Sublime Love
Before comparing let me clarify as to what I mean by these two
words.
Suniata......Just acknowledgement.
Just awareness.
No reaction either good or bad to an action.
As soon as an action or thought occurs, one of our skandhas
(one of our thought body) records it, and the second skandha
gives it a label of like or dislike, good
or bad etc. The next skandha reacts to it producing
craving for more, if it is liked and hating if it is
disliked.
This reaction becomes the cause of next chain of
reactions.
In order to be in Suniata, one learns to acknowledge
the thought or action by first skandha but stops the reaction
there and then.
Remaining in the moment of thought or action also
will not give a person next moment to react.
Sublime Love....Love that unifies without differentiation.
Selfless love.
Love that is given to one and all,to nature, to
animals to humans.
Highest form of Love that spiritualists can define.
Suniata is way way ahead of Sublime Love and all Bhoddisattvas
should and must invariably remain (abide) in Suniata.
Both Suniata and Sublime love move towards unity, and unity is the
way to move towards Eternal Emptiness (Shiva), but there
is a difference.
Suniata carries ego while Sublime Love carries both Love and Ego.
Sublime Love is heavier or fuller compared to Suniata and hence
is away from Emptiness (Shiva).
Suniata can never reach macroism Emptiness (Shiva) as it carries
the ego which binds the microism and tries to reach as
near to Shiva as is possible.
Ego of Suniata carries the basic seed which binds it to lower
layers of evolved micro bodies. These micro bodies
carry the wisdom of the layers of their existence.
This is the basic science of Bhuddism expressed by Guatam the
Buddha in Lotus Sutra.
