first I would have to suggest for you to throw out the dream book! IMHO
many of these books have only negetive things to say about what a symbol
means to us in a dream. Also each one of will have a diffirent
interupitations of what that symbol will mean. It is important that we
discover what the symbol means to us. I fully believe in sharing dreams.
I find that when sharing a dream and I heard different peoples thoughts on
it, it will often give me new angle to work with at discovering the meaning
behind a dream. That is because others can view what we have seen with no
emotion. Here are some questions for you. What colour was your
Rhinoceros? Colours can help you to define what this form is to you. How
did the Rhinoceros make you feel? What action was taking place in this
dream?

In answer to your questions, I have many animal dreams. One in pecticular
where a large animal is chasing me and I feel I am in danger. I always
wake up upset when this dream occurs. I am always running down many
different halls and they never seem to end and the animal always catchs up
to me and I have to run again. The next time I have this dream I am hoping
that I can turn around and ask this animal why it is chasing me and then
perhaps I can see what is really in these halls! Obviously I am dealing
with a fear in these dreams. This is why I need to ask that question. I
dream of snakes as well. In fact one dream still haunts me. I have also
been an animal in many dreams. In dreams I have played many times with
puppies and kittens. I have flown with the eagles and I have watched them
fly. These are the dreams I enjoy the most! We can learn much from our
animal friends! :-)
