It's sped up my metabolism on *all* fronts: somatic,
intellectual, emotional, etc. I process more of *everything*, including incoming and outgoing sexual signals, yes.
Didn't someone recently say "Don't worry, be happy"?

Hi Paul, this is Lou. I just wanted to make sure you knew and anyone on the list that may have taken what I wrote differently than how I meant it. It was
the last thing on my mind to be offensive. I kind of don't think you did take it that way by your message but there were a couple of little things you
said in your response to me that weren't what I said so I thought I would address them (3 of them at the end).
Just so you know, I am used to viewing things very realistic, scientifically,
and I appreciated your words as they made me think of unresolved issues I was having on detachment for awhile. I do agree that in general, to be detached
as an individual is to actually be more attached with the whole, or others, all others. I have believed this for awhile but hearing it from your
perspective and Katrina's help me realize it more.
I was (am) an addict. I don't use anything now but I did and I must always be on guard. Why do I mention this? Well, before I was able to stay off the
substances by will, I had a doctor who prescribed me something called "Revia" or Naltrexone generic. This med works by preventing your dopamine secretions
so that you can't get high It takes away your ability to feel pleasure which is what the illegal drugs do in reverse. You don't get high on the drug, you
get high because the drugs allow your body to secrete these little pleasure chemicals unchecked. They just open the door, you are getting high on
yourself. (quite a potential we carry around.) Anyway, when I took the Revia, I remember sitting down with headphones to listen to my music. My
music is my life in many ways. It gives me goose pimples. As I sat down to listen to one of my favorites, I remember that the "sound" and the "music"
were now different things. I no longer heard the music. The drums did not play a drum beat, it was the sound of a stick hitting a skin, the guiter music
was now metal strings simply viabrating. Joan Osborne's voice was no longer music, it was a female manipulating air to make sounds with her throat
muscles. It was one of the most horrible experiences I ever had. I was so scared that I would never hear music again. Then I tried to do other physical
things that historically brought me pleasure, yes, thats it. And instead all I felt was the mechanical definition of what I was doing. I was totally
detached physically!! and it was HORRIBLE!!
Thank God when the med wore off my feelings of pleasure returned but I wanted to share with you why I was so interested in your message. I've been there
(detached on the physical level) when I wasn't ready to be and it stinks.
Ok, end of that. The 3 things I meant were A) "Sarcasm". When I said this I wasn't being rude, I was complimenting you on what could have been an
interesting way of using simple English to make a very complicated point and I really wasn't sure if you meant that way, B) My use of the pronoun "we" did
not indicate I was including anyone else with me except for those that may have been feeling the same things I was and C) I didn't use the word "angle".
That is a negative word. I used the word "take" as in "what is your take?".
I hope, if you did feel I was one of the offensive ones that I cleared it up. If I wasn't, at least it gave me a chance to share the "Revia" story with

The old addage(sp?) about loving yourself first,... well about the time I woke up I fell in love for the first time in my life and actually said the words I swore to never say... I wrote Paul last night about the fact that when we open up here it is in the safety of our own space and we can always change email names, shut off the computer, answer off the list etc... well in public things happen that knock us off guard. I call it scanning, and it happened to me yesterday. All I could say to the guy was "you are supposed to ask permission before you scan someone!"
Later that day I was thinking about this guy who walked up to me as a stranger and told me about my self! Two minutes later I was downtown Chico, among 2,000 college students and BLAM! there he was again. The K energy is very much an aphrodesiac and it is very much the root of all expression which is intoxicating to us as well as others. When we live the life we feel good about others are more attracted to us. I have not changed my body, clothes, or hair... Yet now out of nowhere I am approached on the street! I am a 31 year old single mother who is in fit shape but I do not look like any of the 21 year old girls I am among during the day!!! Kat and everyone else, enjoy the reflection of your soul shining through. Do however keep in mind as I am that the K will I believe, could be wrong, let you know when the time is right to act. I am merely mortal and it is hard not to act but now I will only act if my gut tells me that it is time... I will know when it is time in my gut, I hope that he will be in my future sooner rather than later but I will just keep my life flowing and trust that now that I feel good about myself, he will see the soul inside too. Kat I have talked to you often and if you are leaving you will be missed... Keep the faith Kat, life is an adventure and we have a great path, it will be fun. Maybe not easy but it will be fun. We deserve light in love, wait make friends, and see if your light matches and your energy accents each others. My only concern in this is that someone might become attracted to me that usually would not be?
I too have noticed an increase in all the other departments as well! The
one that I find hard to deal with is the emotional one! Talk about a living roller coaster!

I am starting to have some real questions in my mind about events that have
taken place in my life in the past few years and how much of it could be connected with the Kundalini Rising? This coming month will give me plenty
of time to think about it and to go within myself to get answers.....well this is my hope.

Thanks for your kind wishs and you sound thoughts that you have shared with me. I found the part about that this can cause rebelling as well
interesting. Generally most people I meet like me but once in a while someone will completely take a dislike to me and when their friends who know
me ask why the answer usually is they have no idea why just that they feel that way. Before tonight I always put this down to past lifes or karmitic
possibilities. This is a new thought for me to play with. Thanks I like playing with the mind.

some thing quite weird is happening here and I need to ask the list if anyone else is also getting it. What it is is the words being typed but instead of
sitting still and move up and down, like kids being lazy. The lines are moving up and down, the letters are collapseing. But it is not bad, the

responding to the messages on spirits and souls.
i dont see consciousness as a simple division of spirits, souls, etc. i see the whole of consciousness as something of a spectrum. if you look at a light
spectrum, where is the line between red and orange? there is none. it is just a gradual progress between the two. i think that the divisions between
consciousness are like this, we give names to relative areas(like colors) but they are all of a whole and there is no clear distinction between
them.
aside from that when i talk of soul i refer to the consciousness itself, which is what i think of as a spectrum. but when i
talk of spirits i think of ghosts and etheric bodies(probably same thing) that really are "bodies" just not completely in the physical realm.
according to many people whos info ive come to believe in, there are at least five bodies that we use in various realms. little tidbit of info, i have heard
on at least half a dozen occasions where a parapsychologist has claimed to weigh the astral body. i think that different parts of the consiousness resides
"within" these bodies but only temporarily. as for the essence, the soul, can and does it exist without a body? my scientific mind says no, but the
rest of me finds the idea intriguing.

For myself, this phenomena is so common that I'm almost dissapointed

The words you used in this reply were beautiful! I thank you for sharing so much of yourself with me! I will let the K flow even though at the moment I
am having trouble understanding it and its purpose's . I agree that life is an adventrue and I have been on its path for some time now and I suspect
my true adventure is just starting now! I too will miss being able to post back and forth with you and the others. The kundalini wants me to go it
alone for awhile but not completely. I am going to be living in a home where I know I will have the time that I need to begin some self healing
that is very necessaary. I also am aware that something is coming my way. Not sure what it is but I can feel it coming. When I return I will be in
my own home. Till then.........May you be blessed with everything you need for your path.

Hi All,
Well this is my last post. Just wanted to thank everyone that has been working with me through different thoughts and ideas! Thank you for being
there for me when I have been screaming and mad and not asking me to be of the light.....until of course I cooled down! Thank you for accepting both
the Negetive and the Postive aspects of me. I will miss each and everyone of you! My one wish for all on list and for myself is that we all continue
along our paths and continue to learn the lessons we are here to learn. Should any of us fall may we all continue to have the strength that I have
seen on this list to pick up the one that has fallen and gently put them back on the path. May the Kundalini do what she does! and allow us the ride
of our lives!
