If I were a born-again fundamentalist, I surely would not have been on
the list to begin with.
Now, this was to be a logic exercise in explaining why evil exists, not
some imitation of a preacher gone off the deep end. Since it seems a
majority of the people have either been silent or are looking at me as
such, I will cancel the thread here and will no longer be reading any
messages concerning this topic. So don't expect anymore replies from me
on that.
If you will excuse me, I will go and get some coffee because I'm getting

Bravo Paul,
Very astute.
The 'ego' is the note that the causal body (soul) sounds for a life.
(at its highest and most purified level).
The ego is not evil, limited, or anything negative. It is sacred
and worth respect like everything else.
Now, do we as humans get 'unaligned' with the note of our lives?
Yes, of course.
Does that make the mechanism 'bad' ? Nope.
The moral is, don't try to kill the messenger, you'll just get
a dead messenger, and you will be all the further from
enlightenment.

Hmmm... I like that perspective, it rings true. When all the compulsive
stuff, the conditioning, all the crap, is gone... what remains is total

Okay Hudson, you asked for it - and here it is: The whole story is a metaphor!
The tree represents the life, the trunk is the cerebral spinal column, the apple is the knowledge and the snake is kundalini -
Rather like calling Jesus Christ... it's Jesus the man who followed the Christ Consciousness, or if you will the Christ path. Maybe you might think of him as Jesus, the Christed instead. Jesus was the first Adam which all appeared at the same time in different locales and different races of man... don't get trapped into the idea that there was just one Adam, and that all men came from him whether they be black, red, white, brown or yellow. Didn't happen that way. He shared the spirit - soul of each one of the Adams created.
The Old Testament is the history of the Jewish people, whom at one time were nomads and gathered data for their book (O.T.) from the various people along their trek. That's why you will find similarities of accounts in many cultures. Sometimes changed a bit to enhance the culture of the people relating the story... we all at one time or another have bragged a bit about our country, family or whatever... that is until we know better and seek only that which is truth.
Did Jesus believe in reincarnation (?) - guess he must have since (a) he was an Essene (b) he was also, first soul Amilius, Adam, Enoch, Melchizedek, Joseph, Joshua, Jeshua.

(1) Now Percy, if you're fully awakened - you gotta know the difference between good and evil - right?
(2) There were other lessor Gods - try reading the Essene material or the Dead Sea Scrolls, and a lot of this will be brought to light. Did the Creator create other Gods, maybe so - after all S/he had a lot of work to do, maybe needed some sub-contractors.
Now comes the backlash from the Christian coalition - have at it K-lites, it doesn't push my buttons one way or the other... I give you my system of belief, if you like it - take it, if not - throw it to the Cosmo, we are each possessed of free will and thought.
We've all been down this path before, pros and cons. Mystress is right, if you want to be chewed up a bit, stick around, if not - cancel the discussion of Bible quotes, meanings etc., we all know who interpreted it. A bunch of people who really didn't speak Old Hebrew anyway, and a phrase was inserted here an there by some well meaning priest who thought it would clarify the meaning to the average person, when the scribe had already changed it by not translating it correctly to begin with...
If you want to continue with spirituality, kundalini, the symptoms, results or whatever, great! If you want to discuss the Bible, there's another place to take it... find it on Spiritweb, there you can discuss the Bible to your heart's content, or until the cows come home, whichever you like. There is main energy rout called the microcosmic orbit(Taoist) that is
completed when the tongue touches the palate. The energy goes up the
back of the body and down the front( I cut the connecting tissue under my
tongue to make it more comfortable to touch the palate for long periods).
Some people get energy stuck in their heads and they get a headache type
sensation. A cure for this is to touch the tongue to the palate,
circulate the energy up the back and down the front a few times. Then
bring the energy to the navel and store it there. This can be important
with k activity. You don't want to cook your brain.

Well, Percy, the post was for Hudson as well, not directed entirely your way... I answered your question about others gods, did I not? You asked with whom God was speaking, I tried to give you an answer... and to point you in the direction of book(s) that would further answer your questions.
As for anger, maybe a look see inside of yourself will allow you to see why the anger was and is there. Don't attach to that anger, let it go - and yes, the myth of Genesis is just that, all I did was to expand it a bit... and why.
The reason the post had your name attached to it was because it was the last post that was received and it included dialog from two others, and I did reply to it as such, including Mystress' comment, that of Hudson and then I answered your question to the best of my ability. Had it been Mystress' post or Hudson's it would have been the same, last post received. I didn't miss what you were asking at all, when it came to the last of the post, "Now the backlash from the Christian coalition" it was only for those whom quote the Bible backwards and forwards... dear soul, only if the shoe fits, which in your case I don't think it does.

Yes a person can bring about a healing in another. In truth however any
healer will tell you that it is the person themselves that heals themselfs
with the help of god. The healer is just blessed to be used as a tool.
Yes energy can be sent. Sometimes without knowledge that the person can do
it. I once accidently knocked someone off their chair when they were
responding to a letter from me! Oh I'll tell you she was not the only
person shocked! I have since been more careful about what thoughts are in
my mind when I send a posting out. This happened in a time I was going
through.......lets say inner personnitlies acting out their angers......or I
should say mine. Its all me in the long run and that has been a hard
thing to accept because with acceptance of that I had to take the
responsibility of the action. Energy is just what it is. Energy.

You know a lot of people have tried very hard to get me to understand what
you have just shared with me. I don't know if it is because my head is
