Since my K has been active my orgasms have reached incredible heights and I
attain altered states of conciousness during them. I can send the orgasm up
my spine instead of letting it complete where it is, and I now *easily* attain
orgasm simply by thinking. Very nice...

hi everyone
I couldn't wait to receive e-mai from you guys so I decided to just jump right in. I am a 33 yr old married homemaker who is VERY much into my quest for spirituality and knowledge. I meditate, read and use "Iasos Sacred Sonic tools" to work with my inner self.
As of late I have been having these aweful symptoms, I was keeping them to myself cause I thought I was going nuts. I had tought tht finally I had become a Master of my SELF when all of a sudden I was beginning to shake, sweat and become really hot, especially my hands. my hands would burn, people would think I hd a fever, I would also feel the heat,but inside.
This would happen when people would come over, I would jst shake, my leg had a mind of its own, it would shake uncontrollably, or else I would have rub my hands on my legs or anywhere just to stop the shakies!! I feel things like bugs crawling all over me,especally the legs. It got to the point where Iwould smack my legs to get th bug off but there was nothing there.
I thought I was at the point in my life where I was ready to soarand now this happens, it is quite scary because I am told it can either be good or bad and if pushed other thngs happen.So now I sit here in fear which I thought was all over, I had conquered that and now I have this.
I also think I am nuts, that maybe I am making this all up. There are times when I feel normal. Hmmpphh

I had waited for him for many long years, spun the prayer
wheels, called the psychic hotline, consulted the online oracles.
I wanted nothing less than complete enlightenment to all the mysteries
of the universe. When the student is ready, the teacher appears, all
of the oracles and portents had sighed into my ear, and so I waited.
Years, I waited, until one day a small firm knock sounded on
the door of my modest ranch home. I did consider a hut, but there
were problems with the zoning people. And there he was. A small
wizened Asian man with laughing eyes, in a thick red prayer robe.
I barely remembered myself. " The God in me recognizes the God
in you, " I said, and bowed gently, with my hands together.
He studied me for a moment. " Right, " he said, and steppped

another Seeker at four."

Everything is run by an enormous turtle named Moinymoingo. He
actually IS the universe , and we are all just molecules that make up
his Eternal Being. He's pretty partial to the turtles on earth and so

Hey there,
i have talked with my teachers about this, but it still bogs me down
somewhat.
i can sense at the perifery of awareness...a great orchestra off-key,
and its very very very sad.
my last foray into the woods for a week brought this to the full force
of my attention and i cried like a water pump. at the time, it forced
energy awareness to a level that it was hard staying around the
temple..i was that raw.
the comments about sadhana are correct. once in, the only way out is
through. doesnt matter if ur path is buddhist or vedantic or whatever.
this lady has a ton of buddhist karma.
Lama Lodu Rinpoche recently said something like 'a bodhisattva is more
sensitive, like your eyes are more sensitive to dust. Your hands now,
they could handle dust all along, but not your eyes. The bodhisattva
becomes aware of suffering like an eye of dust. it cannot be ignored.'
Chenrezi is always crying...so was born the Mother of the Buddhas, Arya
Tara.
i think this senstivity is part of the purifying process. you just cant
stand to make more suffering, of your own hand or at the hand of
another.
noticed when a swarm of mosquitoes comes at me, i blow them away, shoo
them, tolerate them, but i dont ever ever slap them anymore.

I think you are at this point *because* you are ready to soar! This is a wonderful thing, not a curse.
Good or bad depends on your perspective. From my experience, awakening has produced a number of changes which I have resisted. This resistence has been the source of my pain.
You mention "conquering." Spirit is not something to be conquered. It's something to be surrendered to. (Even though I know this, I still don't have this integrated in my life!)

Yeah. I know this feeling well. I had concluded last week that I was just plain nuts. I go through this still at least once every three or four months.
When this happens, I realize that I am out of balance with living as a human being on this physical plane. So this week I'm living more "humanly." I even was sick today--a rarity for me! Can't get more human than that!
Also, when I'm feeling like I'm making it up, spirit provides me validation that I am not crazy. Sometimes it's something simple. This weekend, I had planned to interview some people for the spiritual book I'm working on. This damn book is just feeding into my delusions, I had concluded. Since the place I wanted to stay is a resort and this is the busy season for
resorts, I didn't think I'd find a room on a Saturday night. If I found a room, I'd go. If I didn't, I wouldn't. I called and surprise! A room was waiting!
Everything about my trip was filled with synchronicity. Finding the perfect lunch spot. Meeting my interview subject at the grocery store. Eating breakfast in a scenic spot by the river which we just happened upon. Even when my daughter locked my keys in the car, the resort had a slim jim. I went out to try to unlock it. Soon a man and a woman came to help. Then another
younger man. The crowning moment happened when a guy who was driving by on a golf cart. He stopped, grabbed the slim jim, and had it popped open in a minute. Then he jumped back into the cart, gone in an instant.
I spent the weekend in the real world. Yet throughout my trip, spirit supported my journey. I feel so much better this week. I know I will continue to think I'm nuts at time. You will too. How can we not when we have to live in a society that tells us what you can see is real, what you can't is fantasy.
Hang in there! Sometimes it can be a bumpy ride, but help is near. There are lots of people on the list who are here to listen, offer suggestions and personal stories. No one person or list will have all your answers, but the companionship can make the spiritual path a lot less lonely.

Yes indeed, and it is what keeps me minding this list..
However, Goddess provides.. There is Stanislaw and Christina Grof, who
established the "Spiritual Emergence Network", a reference collection of
medical professionals and other healers who have experience with Kundalini.
He saw what you do.. that folks experiencing spiritual crisis are not
helped by anti psychotic medication.. uh, he was also one of the
psychiatrists who did the most research with LSD, before it was banned. He
has a book comparing it and spiritual crisis, and awakening, as well.
You can contact them, and they will be able to recommend a K-friendly
shrink in your area, to look at your friend... or send educational
materials to his psychiatrist.
The work is happening, support the SEN if you can..

Or you can get involved personally.. they are always looking for
volunteer "listeners" who have had experience with KA, to accept calls from
folks in crisis who need a friendly ear.

As Freda says, that _Is_ how they deal with it. So long as you are
judging it from your own fears, you cannot see perfection. Society has had
worse plans for the awakened, crucifixions, Inquisition, martyrdom and
Witch burnings.
Our modern society is at least, gentler in it's errors.
Whether a Yogi is in contemplation in a madhouse, an ashram, or in a
cave, what difference? Certainly medications can be disruptive, but I
suspect the Shakti moving thru those folks has a positive healing effect on
the other patients, as Goddess wills. They are where they need to be for
who they are in the moment.

Matthew a friend of mine tells wat happened in past has happened. Why
worry abt it now ? devote urself completely in the awakening of kundalini
now that's wat is needed at present. Practice celibacy now or become
able enough to divert the sexual enrgy upwards rather than worry abt it.
That's wat i think.

Janpa , i too think that sensitivity is a part of kundalini. I have become
sensitive to red chillis can't tolerate even a bit of it. Earlier I used
to feel kind of intoxicated after a cup of coffee.
