Watched a very cool film last night, think the title was "FairyTales: A true story"...anyway, it
was delightful and was based on a historic 'incident' that took place in England during WWI.
Lots of synchronicity in it regarding magic vs. illusion, the minds of children and how they
change as people 'grow up'...
Starred Paul McGann, Peter O'Toole, can't remember the young girls' names but they were
wonderful.
I'd recommend it to anybody who wants to pull the "jadedness" from their psyche right now.

Oy.. the Legacy of Gopi Krishna... sigh. The kindest word I have to
describe his writing is "alarmist."
I can't add much more to Jan's analysis, except that you must learn to
trust that a Goddess of Unconditional love has some nice things planned for
you!
Thoughts are creative, what we give our energy to, grows. Stop investing
in fear, it will not stop the progress of your awakening, but only make it
miserable.
Find something to put your faith in, and hang on!
There are many folks on this list who are having wonderful awakenings.
Gopi's experience is unusual.
There is a great book by Dr. Lee Sanella called "The Kundalini
Experience", which has a more scientific/medical analysis of K. that you
will find comforting.

Interesting.. I get information like that, too.. What I am getting is not
in depth, but rather simple.. the number 8 is also a symbol of infinity..it
is the infinity symbol sideways.
The infinite, Goddess.. Kundalini energy and Earth fire are often seen as
electric neon blue, as is the throat chakra.
So: life energy jump start from the Infinite. I wonder, did you apply
the 8 upright or sideways?

This may not be the same... but I once had similar symptoms around the
heart chakra: open in front, closed with physical pain behind. I almost
went to a cardiologist to see if I had heart disease. Even caused my
spine to lock up, so tight my chiropractor couldn't get the joints to
move. Very painful.
With some Reiki therapy, found out I had a lot of repressed anger and
resentment buried behind my heart. I had to practice forgiving and
loving several people, including my parents and my wife. Practice
visualizing each person in turn, saying "I release you, I forgive you, I
forgive myself." Worked for me.
Maybe some of this will relate to your condition.

Hi gang,
I'm so new to all of this but with a discussion of opening heart chakras
I'd like to tell you what I'm going through in life. I'm going through a
divorce, I have found another love who is my future husband. But I am
Manic Depressive and I get these horrible crying jags and fill like my
heart chakra area is open but only in the front and that it hurts, and
sometimes a feeling of anxiety. I'm not much into meditation but I'm
sure that would help me. Can anyone relate to this or decipher to help
me understand what I need to be doing to be right on my spiritual path
so to speak? Thanks in advance :-)

I think that's why I'm having terrible pain at my lower thoracic
vertebrae, I'm a massage therapist so that is good to know where in your
body it hurts. I considered calling the doctor for a muscle relaxant but
decided I'd try to treat this on my own with cold packs, essential oil
therapy and some looking within. I probably have had anger and
resentment most for my mother. Our personalities in ways clash, or maybe
that's just the mother daughter experience. I will forgive her all
wrongs I've seen in her and ask to be forgiven all the wrongs I've
committed.

Has anyone out there who has been through kundalini have a case of manic-depression or depression due to a chemical imbalance (or maybe chakra imbalance). What has happened to you since you have gone through kundalini. Have you overcome your depression or have the symptoms disappeared or does it help with these new energies to cope with your depression. Whenever I first started meditating I did it with the intention of curing this illness (if it does I can help a lot of people). Has anyone out there recovered from either depression or manic-depression. How does Kundalini affect people who are depressed. Thank you for your comments. Gregory Howard

what you refer to as "manic-depression" is a limitation unto the terms presented by the "psycho-analysis industries", who are supported by 'Lily-White Pharmaceuticals' & various offshoot drug companies, & they all need to create this concept in order to fund each other.why see the kaleidoscope in terms of a definition provided by unknown corporations as a 'diagnosis', & for which consciousness-numbing drugs are always the answer?
that "mania" is also a form of *genius*. That "depression" can also be construed as a *dark night of the soul*.
the further out here one gets, the less categorizations invented by other 'mere mortals' apply to any given situation. The *stigma* of 'manic-depression' is not a cross anyone is required to bear! It's association with "mental illness" has not decreased, why let it limit you?
within every individual, our "past histories" provide us each with a *measuring stick*, by which to gauge our behaviours & social acceptabilities. People who are diagnosed with "bi-polar disorder" are a pedigree breed, who should EAT balanced meals, live balanced lives, & meditate regularly & get lots of exercise.
This is the way to effectively combat depression or despair. The "mania" is the 'icing on the cake'.
chemical imbalance = EAT good food & get exercise!
Be natural! Don't fit into boxes! Be who you are! Do not accept labels from "professionals" unless so far gone - then a strait jacket has more virtue than any medication.
Keep looking deeper; you'll find your own validation & your place inside without succumbing to "labels".
That is all the advice I have for now!
