Seems like snake dreams are recurring for me...not sure if anyone else also has these. Are these another symptom of kundalini?
My latest snake dream happened two nights ago. I remember three key
fragments to the dream...
First fragment: Someone (another woman?) is holding a rattlesnake by the neck. I am
standing directly across from her, but I am not afraid. She knows what she is doing and is teaching me how to hold the snake without getting
bit.
Second fragment: I am with this man I know. We're hugging and kissing in a nurturing way.
[Note: In "real" life this man and I had a falling out several weeks ago.]
Third fragment:
I'm having oral sex with another woman. I am not homosexual and realize this in the dream and wonder what the hell I'm doing with this nameless,
faceless woman.
I feel that the three fragments of this dream are linked together and are trying to convey an important spiritual message. Though I have some
ideas on the individual fragments, I'm not picking up on the overall message. Any feedback is appreciated.

Somehow I don't think the present is `inbetween' the past and future
as such. Past is the `opposite' of future. You can't have three in the relationship. You can be presently in the past or presently in the
future, I think. Sort of a change of scenery more than a movement away from the present. I also view time generally in this way.. the
present, the now stays still, and every form transforms around/within it. Ultimately we never really go anywhere. Always here.

I suppose that one is obvious. But it may also represent you trying to
figure out a way of gripping or keeping or having `enlightenment' without having to accept responsiblity for the dangers or something.

The man in the dream is the part of your mind that you broke off and allocated to this man so that you could have an attitude about him.

I find my dreams usually have a lot of `time' in them, and are almost always like stories over the course of time. What happens to begin
with may be what happened in the past, and then the dream proceeds to lead up to the present. Just seems to generally depict progress.

This descent into darkness and hate is familiar to me and, as I posted recently, sometimes seems to be getting more intense, rather than less.
What many people have suggested that has helped me immeasurably is to understand that this, too, is part of the spiritual path and will pass
if I observe it rather than resist it. Sometimes the darkness has led to a deeper level of healing in my personal history, other times the
purpose isn't clear till much later. I pray a lot and particularly ask for the grace of tears so I can soften out of the bitterness into grief
or some other less rigid place. It's just a guess but it may be that your sense of being spiritually attacked is a mis-reading of a
sensation that God is actually hanging in there with you in this. I don't know about you, but I get very paranoid during these times. But
with each go-round I find my attachment to egoic life is a little less fierce. Accepting that I have the capacity to be hateful has been a

Some days are just like that...fr'instance earlier this week I had a couple days of being right down there in the muck and mud and reeking icky stuff...and just about everyone around
me (and yes, me as well, mostly for "putting up with the bullshit")... seemed to be just, well, major IDIOTS...I thought, gee, is this something that I'm just now seeing for the first

years ago "topped" the poor tree and it has splits developing about a third of the way up the trunk where the big clump of branches sprouted out...the sap runs down the side of the tree
and smells for all the world like a giant pile of dogshit (not kidding here)...so it seems the theme for the early part of this week was decay and death and defecation...things I normally
put out of my consciousness, things I don't "like"...but things that are an integral part of being.
Okay...where am I going with this?
I really don't know...maybe it's the time of year...maybe there's a natural swing to the "icky
side of things" when the human system is trying to balance...
So don't kick yourself too hard...I think it's just stuff coming into your awareness in a new (for this week at least) way and you will probably process the reactions and feelings and move
on...hmm...I'm thinking of it as sort of the reverse of the blissful transcendent experience...the down-n-dirty transcendent experience as well--when the little dog pulls the
curtain away and you see the little old man behind it working the levers that make the steam and scary stuff...and it seems at first nasty, petty, hateful and disgusting...
Or not...I dunno...but I'm thinking that these things are "compost" for all intents and
purposes...I'm wondering if some day I'll be able to just take it all in and embrace it all as absolutely wonderfully perfect...not just the good-smelling, nice-acting, pretty-looking
stuff!

The morning sun caresses the village & the trees & plays off the water
with it's warmth. Colors seem brighter, more vivid, the water blue jewels, reflecting the sky.
Hatred seems no part of this ambiance of shangri-la; it retreats sleepy & dormant, but it is not disempowered. It uses some fractional part of
energy just to be stored in the cpu. I can feel it lying there now, unlike before the attack last night when it was just a vague &
undefinednumbness. Like the villain in a Stephen King novel, it is awaiting for darkness, it's friend.
Casting all judgements about it, or them, or anything aside, I still have trouble integrating hatred as a neccessary componant - the
compliment to love, &/or other nebulous qualities. It seems an open wound, needing antiseptic & healing by the powers of creation.
Everything is set up so as there is nothing to be said, & nothing to be done but to contemplate & observe the amalgamous fluxations in peoples &
events as they might transpire. If I were the I Ching I might ejaculate; "The superior man knows that
any action from within the dark & dank cave brings evil." It is programming. I still judge hatred as 'evil', when perhaps I should
just indulge in it, embrace it for what it is. It is what it is...
Thankyou for the many varied responses. At least now I am able to discern the boundaries which induce this foul beast better; focus closer
what this hate is about. But it is not just about the bad treatment from people I care about right here in the present. They are but the triggers
to release other events that have been stuffed. And no longer feel so alone with it like other people are all just so
"peace, love, lollipops, rainbows, & flowers". Perhaps it is something the sun would burn off if I were to take it to
the water & bake my physical encasement? ************************
