grtings friends---
my name is niko. i live in San Luis Obispo California and am interested
in khundilini yoga for it's energy expanding intrinsics. i practice a
zazen sitting meditation i learned at a Buddhist monastary in Talmage Ca
and have come to a point where i need to learn more about the practice
and am interested in expanding into other forms and practices. i am a
20 yr old male majoring in horticulture and minoring in television,
radio, film production at Cuest College. i study informally all means
of energy expression and manipulation i know about which is quite
limited but include detection of auras and chakra points, Tai Ch'i, Kong
Fu, zazen, stretch and attempt mindfullness at all times. i like to
after raising my vibration level lay on the grass and watch squiggly
white dots float into the tips of trees, that one always trips people
out when i bring it up. Does anyone else do that?? i would very much
like to learn of people practicing energy consiousness in the San Luis
or Central Coast area, i am originally from mendocino county. i wish
all well on our journey aopre to hear from yall. --niko

Dear ones,
I have to simplify my life for a bit. This kundalini/fever/detox is causing
me to get very little done on the computer. What I do get done is house and
kids and farm and chanting and lots of thoughts. I find myself tying myself
into knots over nothing, turning mountains into molehills and vice versa. No
sense of proportion.
Thank you all for being there, sharing your questions, your wisdom, your
worldview.
love and blessings,
Blythe

Hello Niko
I am a fellow seeker of knowlage in all of the areas you mentioned. I am
a 19 year old female in Calgary, Alberta, currently studying art and music
at the University of Calgary. I have always been fascinated by all forms
of enrgy, human and cosmic. I have read much on everything from Carlos
Castenada to Richard Back to palmestry, astrology, the aura, the chakras,
reincarnation and crystals as tools for energy directing and expansion. I
am currently taking Tai Chi and find it a wonderfull way to open up,
ground myself and relax. It seems to free up the whole energy feild and
it's absolutly wonderfull. What caught my attention is your experiance
with the little white dots. I see them almost all the time and there are
black ones too. Do you notice the sky is to bright to look at somtimes
because of all the dots? I read in an aura-anatomy book that they are
orgone particles which are the building blocks for the etheric double and
are absorbed by everything, from us to the trees. Perhaps this IS prana?
It's good to know another learning, growing human being who has seen this.
Look for them in your own aura too. :)
Love and Light to All
Angie
p.s. This list is wonderfull! I'm a newbie-lurker and am having lots of
fun and laughs reading all of your posts! Thank you so much :)
Kindest, most enthusiastic regards.

It is my view that the pure fire coming down from the crown is indeed
bringing in Divine Will not only for the individual but for the planet
and humanity as a whole. So, whereas the red energy rising has to do
with individual evolvement, the energy from the 10th Chakra which is
pure Divine Will is indeed carrying consciousness of many levels, and
adjusts the inner soul/spirit capacity to work into the plan for service
to humanity. I call this divine will and purpose. We find ourselves in
this time really feeling the energy coming through of Divine Will and
Purpose do we not?
I see this as the important aspect of the hour, the 8th Chakra is
Divine Light, which is the step up from the seventh and the 9th is
Divine Love and then the next is Divine Will. So anytime we are reaching
through the heart center to that of Divine Will we are essentially
reaching high beyond ourselves into that of union with cosmic and
planetary missions and goals. This has been where my training is, and is
also why I put such emphasis on the gateway of the heart....being not
the physical heart, but subtle. And in the subtle heart or invisible
heart we really access cosmic awareness as well as human.
This heart is a huge dynamic that I don't believe is talked about very
much in terms of being that beyond the fourth chakra, this essene of
heart is far beyond this. I do believe Harsha and Indra have spoke about
this somewhat, this is the heart that will transcend the individual
capacity and open the doors to the cosmic. I believe even before the
crown is active people can begin to prepare for their destiny if they
learn how to plug into Divine Will. I don't know that this is what you
are talking about but it is what comes to me and I really don't see it
in any books. I also don't see the 8th, 9th and 10th Chakra's that are
above the head in books. I think this is why you made that note to
yourself years ago.

1. How many of us meditate: yes, daily.
2. Chant or pray: yes, daily.
3. Hatha yoga? Yes
4. NDE or OBE? OBE's have usually been in the form of directed meditation
where I see the people and places I am focusing on clearly and accurately.
5. Agnostic? No.
6. Shaktipat? Whenever I'm in the presence of a true yoga master, I feel the
amazing flow of light through my whole system. Some particularly amazing
experiences. I consider them shaktipat experiences, but I've never "taken
initiation" with any of these wonderful gurus.

I *used* to, and I'm probably the only person on this list who doesn't
have an awakened Kundalini (still working on it). I used to wake up
every night at 2:15am and look at the clock. This went on for months.
I no longer do that.

Yes, I DO see golden hexagons! But I've seen those all my life whenever
I rub my eyes. Perhaps that's non-Kundalini-related?

This is the weirdest -- yes, I have experienced this several times, and
still do, occasionally. This happens in the early mornings just before
rising. I come awake just slightly, and suddenly I can see the bedroom
even though my eyes are closed. I'm not asleep, and I'm not awake,
either. Everything is so clear, too! I have no idea what this is all
about, but when it happens, it's fun.

At times, I can be as sharp as a tack and at other's you can hit me with a

Sorry to bug y'all about this 11:11. This afternoon, thanks to someone on
this list I've been "enlightened" kindly about the fact of groups and groups
following this number. Have been directed accordingly and shall now delve
into this new wonder. By the way, I have a sharp earache in my left ear

...the results of your k-poll. Thx for sharing the info, Hillary!
(Sort of) along those lines...This past wk have read two books: "Kundalini
Experience: Psychosis or Transcedence" (by Lee Sannella, M.D.) and "Are
You Getting Englightened Or Losing Your Mind? (by Dennis Gersten, M.D.)
[After reading their books, I've decided that I'm only HALF crazy...& still a
whole lot of fun!!]
Turns out Dr. Gersten is from Denver, Colorado (same as me)...& in fact, as a
former "atheist Jew," ditched services at Temple Emanual as a kid, & went down
the block to the drugstore (same as me). I wouldn't be surprised if we went
to the same high school--although I'm a few years younger--& have friends in
common. He now resides/practices in San Diego...where it turns out I'll be
after I go to a film seminar in L.A. next month. I've decided to contact
him...& see if he'll share information about k-awakening & mental illness. In
his book, he describes himself as a "spiritual psychiatrist," describes his
own k-awakening, & includes his own "spiritual program for mental fitness."
If anyone has questions they'd like for me to pose to Dr. Gersten let me know
& I'll put something together for him. Thanks! Michele

Subject: BB Guns, Back Pain, Acupuncture & Hot Flashes (??)
Message-ID: <e5fb5c5.34ee7569ATnospamaol.com>
Hi All,
Woke up at 4 AM w/the most intense neck & shoulder pain of my life!
Immediately set up appt w/acupuncturist whose office is down the block (which
I noticed about a month ago when I moved into my new apt.)
While I was waiting for the acupuncturist, his golden retriever brought me a
tennis ball, and put her head on my lap. This was the mellowist dog I've EVER
seen! Good sign.
I mentioned my k-grounding activities and he said, "Yes, kundalini." He put
pins in my shoulder & neck...all the way down to the base of my spine. He
gave me electrical stimulation and shiatsu massage. I mentioned the bb in my
knee, the numbness in my leg, and that the surgeon said it had nothing to do
with my pain. He said, "No, it's the bb." (He was concise as well as calm.)
Afterwards, I mentioned that I had found a "k-list" on the 'net...& he just
smiled. Altho' I'm still pretty tight, I must say...I feel great & at least
for now, my leg feels almost normal again.
On a related note...I've been doing Mystress's grounding meditations for
several days now, & from the moment I started, could feel things moving!
(tingling feet and heat moving up to the top of my head) I was quite excited
about this heat...& then, on an impulse, decided to look up "menopause/hot
flashes" on the 'net. (I'm 42, so I'm "in the ballpark.") And of course, all
the descriptions of hot flashes I read matched my new experiences exactly!
What I found interesting was that, I've NEVER had a "hot flash" before this
wk. "They" started happening the 1ST TIME I did the grounding meditaion!
>From my 'net search I learned that hot flashes typically occur approx. 2 yrs.
before menopause & last about a yr afterwards--altho it is not unusual for a
low % of women to have hot flashes for 20 more yrs!
So now I'm analyzing menopause's k-connection. Interesting that women receive
the k-charge about the time they cease to be able to bear children. (As a
"psychic" type, I'm predicting that mine won't last very long, however.)
Am int'd in other women's comments about all this. And what about you men out
there...are you having "hot flashes, too?
Oh, and one last thing... If it happens only to women, then why is called
MEN-struation?? Still having fun--Michele
