Thank you for that. I've learned words for some of my experience through it. It's a particularly pertinent post for me - I'll see my life a little more clearly now.
The uncannily accurate snippets that describe my arc are picked up on below. Please feel free to skip these as they are more about me trying to figure myself out than any objective truth. And I have rather more to learn in this company than I have to teach.

Paul: I had a moment of realisation in my formative young adult years (err, 17). My righteous instinct lead me to upset someone cruelly and to no good effect in my unswerving pursuit of (my/their) perfection. Ego. Yes, I was really nasty (verbally) to someone. Thought I was pretty swinging and in the right at the time. This and an accumulation of other incidents - like so many mirrors - turned me to look within. I let it change me.

Paul: I think I did get a bit confused with this for several years after/during my k-awakening (aged 18-23). I don't know if this was really an attempt at egolessness. But an uncertainty about who I was in any given situation. This became uncomfortable at times. Unschooled, the doors of perception were swinging open beautifully. But accommodating the wordless experiences within my daily experience was more challenging. Things got pretty rough at times, leaving me a bit paro / openly defenceless in some social situations. Seemingly supra-sensitive yet vulnerable and ill-equipped to act effectively. I think I have found a better balance nowadays.
Peswani: 5) Best are those who select an alive guru of of an organisation

Paul: Although I probably fit in to the category you outline below, I've made this merger in my work. And a rediscovery of surefootedness. It's great work. I've created things out of nothing and found many new sides to myself - as required in its pursuit. But overt spirituality has not been part of my practice. Just work with social mission. This list is my input from other people on matters k-related. For a few years before I found this list, I spoke about nothing to do with K (or other mysterious things) overtly with anyone. So it was a big step forward for me that I was ready for? a great way of gaining some perspective on what seem mindblowing experiences that it's not normal to have.
Peswani: 7) The last best are egoist of Shahanshah type. they will grow
with pain of births on their own till sufficient Wisdom is collected to
seek merger in direct Omniscient Energy. If they are unsuccessful, they
will have sufficient wisdom to guide themselves
to proper organisation and then surrender totally.
Paul: I must have been around a bit because I'm pretty sure I merged with Omniscient Energy in my Mother's front room. Admittedly, I'd been working on opening myself to It and had followed my emerging interests through in the library. Mainly it was intuitive. I felt I was guided for good.
I wondering, however, about where I am at the moment. Still without a teacher. Working all the time - doing the right thing well. Not directly pursuing any meditative practice nor devoting anything other than action - silently - to Goddess. Still resolving yesterdays dilemmas, I guess. In a phase I need to be in. I think the intense experiences of ten years ago were a marker for me. K awakened in me and, in a couple of sessions, rose through to my throat. I stopped there - for many reasons (not least, fear for my foundations) - not feeling I should pursue things any further directly. I would come back to all that beauty later - make time again when I had a broader footing and understanding of life.
Where am I now, I ask myself. I'm ready to open up to the ascent again. This list is helping me to catch glimpses of myself - engage with that side of myself. I've got a lot on my plate in the material world now and for the next two years, but I'm making plans for making room for me. But I've been putting things off like this for years.

IT!
The Sun and the Wind were talking as they do quite frequently, but this day
was different somehow. The Wind and the Sun both saw the man walking down
the street and the Wind said let's see which one of us is stronger. Which of
us can make the man take off his shirt first. The Sun agreed.
Soon the Wind blew ever so gently and the man enjoyed the slight breeze.
Then the Sun took it's turn and shone bright and comfortably warm.
It was quite apparent that this would take longer than anticpated as neither
had been successful in making the man take off his shirt.
The Wind blew stronger and stronger and the man walked faster and faster and
shivered wishing he had a coat to wear...The Wind finally stopped and the
Sun started to glow bright and warm. The Sun contniued to shine and became
warmer and warmer...The man slowed down his step and stopped. He looked
around and admired the beauty of his surroundings whilst the Sun continued
to glow warm...Finally it became so warm that the man took off his shirt.
The Wind was quite puzzled at this. The Sun explained to the Wind that being
gentle and taking your time might well have elicited the desired results,
but doing something as hard and fast and furious as you can does not
guarantee that the outcome will be what you want. The Wind saw the wisdom of
the Sun's words and agreed that the Sun had proven its point and because of
this was obviously the stronger of the two.
like the Sun...Love and Life take time to learn and time to become well
practiced...one must give with real warmth without expecting anything in return
and the gentleness of the wind blowing a breeze your way shows the slow
awakening within yourself...the ascension is always close at hand for those
who strive for it, though it seldom happens in an instant.
like the Sun, IT comes from above and goes through me to a space
below...Then IT starts the reverse path from below and goes through me to a
space above...So i am warmed throughout and i glow throughout and i am all
that i was, all that i am and all that i will be.

Bubble spell for computer protection.
The short form of this spell: ask Goddess to protect your computer.. and
do not ever have another thought of worry for it. Can you do that? I can't
usually. Not for protection spells, coz there is fear prompting the need.
Fear ungrounds.
If I am yelling for help, I am expressing a belief that I am helpless in
trouble and in need, and so I will create, with the limitless power Goddess
has given me to manifest thought. If I trust that Goddess in unconditional
love will give me everything I think of, and begin to create/choose thought
images of safety and light, so I recieve.
So, this is a clear expressed request of intent to safety and light.
The power of rituals, is they engage more parts of your being towards the
single goal.. thought, word, deed. More energy of thought is focused in a
single direction, the intentions go deeper into manifesation.
Get grounded.

Ask for blessings on your work, from Diety, higher self, planet Mother
Gaia... for the good of all and harm to none, et all.. your preferences..
Hold your hands in front of you, like you are holding a punchbowl, and
make a bubble of K. energy between them. Endow it with protective
properties with your intentions.
Useful properties are: for it not to crash or blow up from your K.fire,
even when you are angry.. and for it to be basically impervious to your
changing moods, grounded into a part of you that is stable as higher self.
For it to also filter out harmful vibrations from the monitor, and throw in
some surge protection while you are at it. Make it virus free.. the
possibilities are limited only by your faith and imagination. You can
always add to it later. Being a bubble, it can shine whatever colors you
choose.. purple flame for purity, blue for spiritual communication.. pink
and green for healing love.. think of oil slick rainbows colors on a
puddle, and give it light..
When it looks good to your inner eye, give it a grounding thread.. one
up to infinity, your higher self.. one down to the earth, just as you did
for yourself, energy flowing both ways.. now your creation has it's own
energy source and won't require recharges or batteries... and will be "self
cleaning" .. tho a thought of gratitude for it occasionally is a good idea.
Finally, I like to ask my Angels to administer the spell, and give them
permission to adjust it in any ways they think it and I need, in the
highest good, as it runs. They know more than me.. I surrender it entirely
to their wise guidance. Having it crash when the posts are unkind, was
their idea.. as a way to manifest my intent.
Leave some room in the spells for Goddess to improve them.. don't worry
if you have left out anything, coz you have asked for the angelic refit
package. ("Or something even better, an it be in the highest good of all.")
Trust them to catch anything you've missed, or anything that you've not
planned for, and to correct any suggestions you have made in your intent
that might have negative effects in the future.
In other words.. ask them to fill in the blanks, and leave some blanks
for them to fill in.. trust makes the spell. Remember tho that for Angelic
assistance, you have to ask, or they cannot interfere.
When the bubble seems done, if you need more than one of them, twist it
like a balloon animal... or pop like bubbles dividing, and there will be
two identical like ameobas. or as many as you need. Make them bigger with
more energy if need be, and place them aound each part of your computer.
Add threads going along the connecting cords, sheathing them.. As the side
of the bubble passes thru the computer, it will push out/transform any bad
vibes that need clearing.
You might also want to manifest some tiny bubble "gateways" where the
phone cords and electric run into the house, as well.. adjust their
intention to match thier purposes.
Consider also: Goddess is all things, and so She is your computer too,
and so it is alive. Have a nice chat with your computer about how much you
love it and and all that it does for you, etc.. make friends.
As a final note, if you are having a lot of trouble with lighbulbs and
electronics going foom, then the best thing is to get very grounded and
change yourself.
Have a nice chat with your K. about how you do not wish to cause harm to
electronic beings with your energy, and ask that it be adjusted so as not
to damage such things when you are around them, no matter how extreme your
emotional state may be.
It is possible to negotiate with your K., about how and when it
manifests, to a certain degree. It works best, if you give it a time and
place to release those energies when it is safe to do so.. take a walk in
the park away from electricity, and invite those energies to come out and
play. Ask them to be dampened when you walk into an office or airport.

Sometimes during a meditation there comes after a while a feeling of going
dead, heartbeat goes faster and meditation was interrupted. It took some time
to deal with this feeling of dieing.Every time, when it comes, I labeled it as
thought, and let it go. The result of crossing this point, of overcomming the
fears of death was a warm, loving and somehow known feeling, a feeling of
being home.
I believe there is no god/dess to bring anywhere, only to remember that he/she
is.

Dear Hillary/ Souls
I have no evidence that there are more people with awakend k
though I supose because there are more people on the planet, there
would have to be a higher number even if the % is the same. What I do
believe is that it is easier now to awaken K. I cant say in my own
experience that I had to be very devout, though I am growing in faith
with every day that passes, and under the direction of Guruji I used
mantra, meditation and prayer to bring about the rising of Kundalini
to a point above level with my navel,have ear ringing and associated
movments( body swaying and erratic kind of up and down movment) so I
still have a long way to go.
I supose if we want to be "technical" there is only one of us. It is
more a case of remembering that which we are allready.

I think you may be right about this, but I doubt there are any statistics to
back it up! One hundred years ago, it was openly said that only celibates
could awaken K but that we know is not true today. So many lay people are
having K experiences, but then of course so many people are also practising
spiritual disciplines like meditation which they certainly were not doing last
century (in the West anyway). Most importantly, there seems to me to be a
great increase in the Divine power available to us to call on now, perhaps a
reflection of the intensity of our times and the urgency of our need. Perhaps
this is just an innate part of the Kali Yuga?

Hello everyone-
I dont know if any of you are living in southern Arizona, but I wanted
to let you know of a lecture that is coming up the end of this month.
Just in case some of you are in the Phoenix area and can attend, ;-)
On Februaery 24th and 25th from 7;15 to 8;30 pm Priya Dasi will be
speaking on "Soul Recreation & Destiny" and also "Introduction to
Hinduism" Priya is a teacher at the International Society of Divine
Love and Barsana Dham in Austin, TX. She is one of the first western
women to have recieved Vaishnav sanyas in the raganuga tradition of
Vrindaban, India....studying under the direct guidence of Prakashanand
Saraswati(Shree Swamiji) This lecture is at Crystal Rose Bookstore in
Tempe,AZ and is free to the public. If you are in the area I would
highly reccomend it, she is an incredible speaker....
On another note...I was wondering if any of you are planning a special
meditation on the 26th due to the solar eclipse that is occuring that
day. It is a very special eclipse that has not occured in over 1000
years. If possible , all that are aware f the earth's energy changes
and of higher conciousness, shoud try to meditate on unconditional love
for all of humanity that day. It is the start of an accelaeration of
the energy shifts that are already occuring here. ;-)

HI Uwe,
That feeling your talking about when your body begins to feel like a
piece of cement, I take that is what your talking about...that is
because you are coming out of your body. It isn't that you are dead, it
is just because you are conscious and feeling the body when the
soul/spirit is lifting up out of it. It is perfectly normal, just stay
and observe it and all of a sudden you will break free and actual float
out the top of the roof. No biggy, if you have fear you just stop it.

It seems strange that Gopi Krisha couldn't find anyone with a risen K to help
him when he was suffering so. Do you think the exposion now, (if there is,
indeed an increase) is due to the type of meditation?
How many of us have meditated?
How many of us chant? or pray.
How many of us have done hatha yoga exercises w/out meditation?
How many of us have had NDE's
Are any of us still agnostics?
Has anyone done a survey? I've only been on the list for a couple of months.

between Prana and Kundalini?
Bonnie Greenwell in Energies of Transformation writes "The term 'prana' is
used by some scholars interchangeable with 'Kundalini' but this is correct
only in the most general sense...Prana is an electrical-like energy flow in
the body which is more gross and more accessible than Kundalini, and in fact,
keeps the entire system in working order even while Kundalini lies asleep or
dormant at the base of the spine. It could be considered a stepped-down
vibration of the more powerful Kundalini force..."
Are there different symptoms associated with the two? Or is it simply a
matter of degree? They both seem to be associated with Bliss mystical
experience and a certain amount of spine activity.
