it will wander back to plain english again.. we'll be discusing how to

I would suggest that you take a stroll over to the K.list archives, and
do a search of any topics that interest you.. the correct address for the

Start with a general subject of Kundalini, then refine it as you find
threads and authors that interest you. Months of reading.. many perspectives.

Yup, I keep getting K.A. happening in my BDSM sessions. I have started
seeking a spirutally oriented clientele, so they will have some framework
for the event, if it ensues.. and it does more often than not.. I am very
contagious.

Every human has kundalini, awake or sleeping.
We use the sanskrit terms for reference, simply because they are the most
elegant systems of explanations for the progress and effects. However, many
of those using the eastern terms are actually christains or jewish..or
pagan like myself. In christian terms, it is considered "the descent of
the Holy Spirit", but there is not the same amount of scholarship
dissecting it's effects and levels, for our greater understanding.
Kundalini is the basis of All religions. Most folks refer to it as
"awakening" rather than K. awakening. Do a search on "Spiritual awakening",
and you'll turn up tons 'o stuff.

Well, there are plenty of lists addressing the various phenomena around
awakening.. from channeling to UFO abductions. I am on or have been on
several of them.. but this one provides clearer info than the others,
partly because even tho we have a wide variety of cultures and beliefs
among the memebers, we have at least the common framework of Kundalini to
describe our experiences.

I was a bit confused, I have been working on updating the Kundalini
website, and I got my files mixed.
I have recently also posted my "grounding excercise" on my website, and
had one K.A. happen to someone from doing it online already.. take a look,
when you have some time for a meditation.. nothing fancy, but it seems
effective.

My favorite is the classic bhutta shuddhi. It takes awhile to write
it out,

This is very similar to what people experience after an attunement
to Reiki. (A process that opens the crown, heart, and hand chakras to enable
one to channel healing energy.) See my web site in the sig file below for more
info on Reiki if you are not familiar with it. Sometimes people receive these
attuenments spontaneously without the aid of a Master--but that is not
common .

I find this verry interesting.. what is negative?
What I percieve from my point of view as mostly silent observer lately, is
that the second Chakra expresses regardless of attempts to repress. What
is repressed often springs back stronger anyways.. Negative ideas about
the energy cause negative manifestations.
Thinking about the "negative" propensities and the forms they can take is
illuminating.. especially with regard to the previously stated opinions and
preferences of those engaged in the debate.
Our greatest psychiatric geniuses have said that sexual repression is at
the root of all human miseries. When our bodies and minds are denied their
most fundamental instinctive expressions of love and unity, the individual
suffers, and so the society suffers.

I have some distain.. but mostly sympathy.. for those who chose to think
that a chakra might be dangerous. I see that repression is the dangerous
thing, like trying to cap a volcano. One may divert the streams of lava,
but the pressure under the earth rising up is stronger than forces that

Again.. fear of annilhilation, fear of intimacy, unity.. two beings
merging into one and losing self in bliss? This comes of the second chakra,
or the second chakra's gifts repressed and denied?

A very cold looking word, and one whose value I have been wrestling with,
lately.
I see pity, scorn and distain as having some similarities.. denial of the
mirror of all that is. Pitilessness, tho is an apearing darkness that
shines light as a gift of trust in the perfection of the individual's
experiences.
Pity, after all, is a gift that few truly want.. who wants to be pitied?
Three similar words: Pity, sympathy, empathy.. each have a different
meaning to me.
Pity: There but for grace goes I.. you are not me and I am so glad coz
I'm better off than you.. = separation.
Sympathy: You are not me and I feel sorry for what you are going thru coz
I don't like to see you unhappy. Separation but with love for other.
Empathy: I feel what you are going thru coz there is only One of Us. Unity.
I don't think faith in Goddess.. diety and pity can co-exist.. certainly
not with empathy. In empathy there is unity, and where unity goes, comes
Goddess Power to heal all hurts.. so there is nothing to be pitied, all is
happening in utter perfection of Divine Will. as it should be.. and there
is no pity because pity requires separation into self and other to be
pitied, and there is only One of Us.
Where there is self pity, there is simply lack of faith in Goddess
abundance.. no motive to go in search of the "silver linings", and see what
new growth has come of the rainstorms. To pity oneself, one has to go into
a fearful space with oneself that is not trusting of manifestations of
unconditional Love.
So if thru my work with the second chakra, I have lost my sense of pity,
for myself and others, and gained empathy and faith, I cannot see this as a
negative quality.
Instead I am finding in it a very real strength.. because those who would
attempt to use pity to manipulate me, find none to latch onto.
It appears very cold at first to them, scary in it's alienness.. it is
the cold fear of unfamiliarity when their strategies of victimhood don't
work to cause the accustomed reaction.
Instead it is met with my deepest empathy, which looks right past the
guilt and negative self esteem games that they are manifesting, to give
love to the perfection I see within.. and empower it past the fears
expressed.
I am not one to offer pity to the shame of the elephant man, and allow
him the bag over his head.. I am one to take it off him so I can see into
his eyes, into the soul and find the unity there.. and to look at his lumps
and know that humans really do come in all shapes and sizes of perfection,
unique as snowflakes.
It is a metaphor.. but I do take people who believe themselves..
particularly their sexual being to be shameful and ugly, expose it and
teach them of the beauty of perfection that it really is. Pity would be
buying into their negative self images of weakness and shame.. I don't. I
am pitiless, because I see their perfection, even tho they don't.. and I
find many ways to say so, until they do.

I have mostly stayed out of the discussion, to hear what other folks
think.. sacred sex being my focus.. I have some thoughts to offer..
Creativity and refinement, yes..
Sex is the force of creation moving inside of humans, and most living
things in nature. Why is most of our art and drama about sex and
realtionships? It is everywhere, even when it is veiled and mysterious.
How much love poetry has been written about the Mona Lisa's smile?
Union of the primary duality.. the shortest path to higher awareness, the
strongest force in nature... puts a spring in the step and a smile on the
face. Stirs the K-fires to greater heights, stills the mind and body for
deeper meditation. Sex is spiritual. Sex is very very sacred.
All acts of Love and Pleasure serve the Goddess, and sexual energy can be
directed to heal the planet.. pagan societies used to have fertility
rituals where couples go out to make love in the fields because centuries
of experience had shown them that the crops grew better when stimulated by
human sexual energy. Creating more abundance for survival.
These rituals also often involved partner swapping: kinky, eh? :)...
partly because it increased the sexual energy released by the tantalization
of "newness", and also to give infertile couples another chance at
conception. Nature likes variety in DNA combinations. Children born from
these celebrations were considered lucky, and cared for as a child of the
whole community.
Refinement=discernment?
Pressure of repression building up to explosive force, messes up
judgement/discernment in sexual expressions.. in other expressions.. we
have all had to deal with cantankerous sexually frustrated folks, eh?
Even the most casual observation would suggest that folks with happy sex
lives are better able to respond to the trials and stresses of the everyday
world... with grace and love.. simply because they have been told that they
are loved, recently, without words and in a language that reaches deep into
mind and soul, whether the sacredness in the act is consciously recognized
or not. Whether the act was solo or not.. This pleasure comes from Goddess.
It is no accident that the strongest drive we have, leads straight back to
the Mother Goddess.

Thoughts from Mystress.. many and varied.. hope they are found worth
reading..
While to a certain extent, sexual energy transformed into other creative
pursuits fuels genius and trancendence, there has to be plenty of sexual
energy, in the first place, for that to happen.
From my experience of highly sexual people, which is vast, "perverts"
tend to be much brighter than average folks.. the idea of the "stupid
pervert", is a predjudice of patriarchy.
It takes brains to look beyond the "missionary position", and guts to go
against society's harsh repression. Certainly, one has to look no farther
than the Genuis-l to find individuals who boast about their intelligence to
make up for their complete lack of sex life..
We could have an extended thread about sex scandals of the various
religous insitutions, if we were inclined to gossip. JFK to the Maharishi..
leaders are horny folks.
From my perspective, intelligence and a high sex drive go together more
often than not.. and this makes sense, from an evolutionary perspective..
breed more smarter people.. except that we thwart nature by being smart
enough to use birth control.
Then we assist evolution, by gathering sperm from Nobel Prize winners..

To my mind, the few religions that are sex-positive are the ones really
invested in empowering the individual. The religions that are
sex-negative/repressive.. usually patriarchal, like the Judaeo-christian
and some Vedic.. tend to hide the sacred power of sexuality under a lot of
warnings and tabus to keep the seeker controllable. (watch out for the snake!)
This works, coz most folks want to be controlled.. followers outnumber
leaders.
Awakened people cannot be so easily controlled.. as Ghandhi said about the
still, small voice within, being the only tyrant he would accept. He was
"married with children".
I get all the sex I want, eat meat, smoke.. and my IQ has been increasing
steadily. It kind of amazes me, but I think of the hierarchies of
intelligence, thus:
The logical ego-mind.. the conscious part that most folks think of as "I"
is the most limited in terms of intelligence. It is preoccupied with fears
appearances and limitations percieved as reality. In realtionship to the
much vaster unconscious, it is as the moon to the sun. Feeble.
That's most of the brain.. and there are as many nuerons in the human
brain as there are stars in the known universe.
Quite a lot..
Yet the intelligence of the body is estimated to be a TRILLION TIMES that
of the brain.
Not only the brain, but every nerve in the body stores memory. With the
spinal cord, that makes for more information stored in the body than in the
brain. Added to that, is the "cellular intelligence". The fluid membrane
around every single cell stores memory also. The body KNOWS a trillion
times better!
Zen and the art of anything.. is disengaging the brain-mind and working
with the body-mind. Perfect, effortless, miraculous, without thought.
Instinctive.
Spirit is on the top of the hierarchy of intelligence, of course, being
infinite and limitless.
Yet, spirit speaks thru the body more readily than the brain.. the first
part of learning to engage intuitional faculties, is learning to listen to
the body: Hair rising on the back of the neck, goosebumps and energy
shivers.. the positive-negative answers from heart and gut. It is the
body-mind that pulls your hand from a hot stove before your brain even
knows about it.. and the Woman who lifts a truck to save her child is not
stopping to first ask her mind whether it thinks she can do it. Instinct is
wiser than logic.
K-fires up Genius anyways, but I tend to think that part of the increase
in intelligence is coming from my listening to my body more. Respecting my
instincts, has opened me up more to the vastness of instinctive
information, and the many signals that spirit sends thru body-mind. When I
stop and focus on my body, in the zen space of silence there is room for
all kinds of information to come into my mind.. from not just my body, but
from my Higher Self, spirit guides, guardian angels, faerie..
It is an expression in the BDSM world, "The Mistress/Master is Always
Right".
Except in my case, it is more than an expression.. With my slaves, it is
more like an ironic running joke.. coz I am right, an absurd percentage of
the time.. like almost always.. about things I ought not logically to
know... it takes them some getting used to. Tee hee.. it does give them a
sense of security, tho.
Nice to know the one who is making the decisions has a strong tendency to
always make correct ones.
My pride in this achievement is very self-limiting.. because the
information is not coming from the "I" that would be prideful about it.. it
is coming when the logical self gets out of the way, and takes instructions
from elsewhere..
Sometimes it is really hard to be right, all the time, especially about
some things.. like premonitions of death.
Bodies communicate with each other, too, in a complex lightspeed
communication that we are not conscious of.
Zen and the art of Acting.. we detect the difference between good actors
and bad ones instinctively, thru the prescence or abscence of something
called the "kinetic dance".
It was discovered when some folks researching body language did a study:
they filmed two strangers meeting for the first time with super high speed
film. (many times) Then they slowed the film right down and analysed it
meticulously for signals being exchanged.
They were staggered to discover that within two seconds of meeting, there
were more than 10,000 signals from one body to the other.. reciprocated.
Holy First Impressions, Batman! Your body has told your whole life story,
and heard theirs, and exchanged opinions about each, before you can even
say hello!
It is this information, that forms the mysterious thing we call
"chemistry" between people. It, like other higher awareness, is something
"felt", but not usually clearly definable in words.
So, if your body is calling for you to connect intimately with another
body, it might be because it is wiser and knows what and who is good for
you, much, much better than you do.
You don't need high speed film to observe the "kinetic dance", tho. Watch
folks in a restaurant, or in any public place, and notice how each person
moves in some way when each other person does, as if to maintain some
invisible balance between them. It is most readily observed with friends
and couples, but can be seen even between strangers carefully ignoring each
other at a bus stop. Their minds think they are not communicating, yet by
observing the kinetic dance, we see that their bodies are actually chatting
away to each other.
So it is with stage fright.. self-consciousness makes us try to control
the body lest it tell too much about us in front of all those people.. !80
and so we feel stiff and clumsy and stupid, the kinetic dance is absent, or
rather, the body is busy telling everyone how scared we are, instead of
sending the message we intend.
Some one, M. I think.. asked about "fluids"..
Far from being concerned about "lack of secretions", I am one of those
women who can ejaculate.. amithra, the sacred essence, I share it only with
those who are beloved to me, as it has an intoxicating effect on those who
taste it.. Love potion #9.. they describe it as a sweetness they find
themselves thristing for, with their whole being. Delightful. I get to
watch/feel their vibration rising, as the energy of it shoots thru their
whole bring, radiant with light. Blows my mind, too..
Love is not like other energies, the more it is shared, the more of it
there is.. the fount will never run dry.
From a health point of view.... sex causes increased heartrate, thus
increases circulation causes sweating.. both of which are important for
cleansing the body of toxins and maintaining health.. activating the lymph,
and balancing hormones. Lymph is largely involved with cleansing the
body systems.. more folks suffer from too much clogged up than too little..
because of muscular tightness and stress. One of the best ways to get lymph
moving to improve health by clearing toxins and tightness? Being touched by
other humans.. massauge. 2 hugs a day for good mental health... Excercise
and deep relaxation. Sex. Staying grounded and in a spiritual state is
easier, in a body that is not being agitated by stress and toxic conditions.
Kundalites are in a process of cleansing not just daily toxins, but also
the various detrius of past karma.. best removed by raising the body's
vibration by focusing on love.. and unity.. and is a wonderful release of
stress. Stress is the big killer. Folks glow and look healthier after sex,
usually in my observation. (Unless it is reeeally disappointing sex.. :( )
Hormones are closely involved in regulating moods, and being able to
control feelings is an important aspect of detachment. It is the starving
man, who overeats, and does himself harm.
Sex without love is like drinking wine to soothe thirst.. the thirst
keeps increasing with every glass, into addiction.
Sexual creative energy funneled thru the Heart and given up to Goddess..
feeds and waters All that Is. The cup runneth over, and must be share mored
widely.. the energy goes out from the act, to promote more love in other
non-sexual interactions.
I use my sexual energy K-fired and combine it with creative visualization
for manifestations and healing. Sometimes this diverts my sex drive
temporarily, it goes wandering off to do the work and seems gone from my
being.. but it never really is.. often it seems I live in a sensual world,
making love to everything around me.. but too much celibacy (defined as no
orgasms) and I find myself getting cranky and oversensitive to slights. I
can easily correct this imbalance, solo.. making love to Self and Gaia,
moving the energy with gratitude for my body's ability to feel such
trancendent pleasure, and releasing it in orgasms as a Gift to Goddess.
Without sex there is still intimacy. Greater intimacy after..
Those who are beloved are in my heart, mind and body all the time, and I
am in theirs.. the connection is not limited to the physical, but charged
and enhanced by it. Within the physical, I have literally hundreds of ways
to explore the exchange of sexual energy, without any actual sexual
contact.. not even kissing... that is my personal pleasure, but also my
profession.. and my professional BDSM sessions cause KA.
These days, so does my healing touch. Reliably. It causes me some concern..
Lately I have taken to volunteering my healing talents down at the local
"medical marijuana compassion club", casually, in their lounge.. and I am
thinking of getting some folders on K.A. printed up, coz I feel like I
should be explain K., with a warning, before offering healing.. Give folks
the chance to RUN! before I touch them and wake the serpents..
(telling them that they won't ever be the same again, sometimes sounds
pretty ominous..!)
One fella even "caught" just by curiously watching me work with the other
folks, and wanting the same. Sigh.
Attempting control of shaktipat is useless tho.. seems it is not up to
me, it is up to the higher self of the recipient. I must trust that Goddess
knows what She is doing, in having our paths cross in the first place, and
will continue to guide them to what they need, whether I give them the
"crash course" on K. or not.
I have had a few aware people tell me, that recieving my healing (not
sexual) touch is more intimate than sex with some lovers they have known.
When I use my empathy, we become one.

A friend of mine has a gift of healing by energy.
However, when she gets mad, glass breaks and mirrors shatter in her
presence. She is desperately seeking help on how to control this power.
She is such a nice mild mannered person it is hard to see this level of
anger coming from her. She will not even hurt a fly (seriously). Is
there anywhere to go for info? What books are available.
