Throat chakra experiences....since childhood i could physically feel the presense of "evil," and was aware of the various types of spirits that exert
influence on the physical realm...anyway, when I faced a direct encounter of this kind or when evil was close at hand, I had the unexplainable compulsion
to cover my throat with my right hand....it felt like this was protection against that sort of "otherly connection," but I never could understand why
this was so. My sister, of lesser sensitivity than myself, but able to feel this type of presence, she told me she too had to cover her neck with her
right hand (palm). I thought this an odd coincidence until I heard Carolyn Myss (sp?) tape on "Anatomy of the Spirit," where she talks about the throat
chakra as relating to a intimate communication with an individual spirit

Actually, that is a normal tendency in everyone and it is because that center is easily activated. It is your communication line to the world
around you inside and out, so it stands to reason that you would protect that very sensitive awareness inside.
Those who are in natural flow with the throat chakra are creative in
anything they do, and need expression of many kinds. Music, writing, dance, art, computer sharing like this, sing etc. It is very important
to find an expression for that creative drive so that it can develop in a balanced flow. Music is wonderful for this, learning an instrument,
writing music. Gloria

In nature, especially in forests i find heaven. i sit under a tree for hours in trance listening to the wispers of the wind, checking out the harmonious
colours {and there is no discord in nature, colourwise or otherwise) and have sat there so involved in it that i failed to notice immediately that
not only two deer were feeding a hundred yards from me but snakes surrounded the rock i sat on, totally nonchalant to my presence, sunnying themselves
alongside me. I'm not nuts about snakes in my vicinity but that day, i felt honoured that they had no fear of me.
Out there, I find absolute perfection and complete sense and I lack for nothing.
For every gift I'm given to see, hear, smell or feel, I consciously, like you, say "Thank YOU". Not I shall be the one who on her deathbed realises
too late that she hadn't "stopped to smell the flowers". i have, i am, and i will.
This is not new to me. i've done it since i was a little girl. In a forest
i've always felt that mysteries were wispered to me. What they were i knew not, but that they WERE, i knew and they put me in rapture even at that age.
i'm extremely grateful to have been given this precious gift, not a day goes
by that i do not APPRECIATE. Would that i could give this to everyone instantly; that would put my bliss in yet another category. Living in the
NOW is what it's all about and that's the end of my preaching....;)

how interesting! It was my ears I covered with the palm of my hands, it
didn't matter whether it had to do with hearing or not. Anything which frightened me. My family could never understand this and I could not explain
why I did it. It was an instant reaction.

There are three throat chakra points. One is at the base of the neck, in the hollow of the throat. This is the "self point". If you are too
empathic and this point is too open you experience allergies from this point. If it is too closed your voice is tight and your perspective of
the world is limited to your own viewpoint. The second throat point is in the center of the throat and is the voice
of your creativity and self expression. The third point is in the hyoid bone, a floating bone at the base of the
tongue. Opening this point allows visions and channeled information. To balance these points, focus on each in turn and create a small, hot
and bright sun there. Burn all impurities with the sun until these points are so clear they expand. They will find their balance point when
cllared. It is best to take a three-day retreat and fast with liquids while burning these points. Otherwise, spend as much time as possible
for a week or two on cleansing the throat chakras. It takes a lot of time to burn each point.

Ruth, I don't know if Tim liked this, but I did. Tim's rant was almost funny
after the initial shock and knee jerk sympathy response, to me anyway...I think calling God names is like being furious with gravity or the phases of
the moon. IMHO it is more than OK to vent now and then, and, ya might as well pick the biggest targets possible. I also enjoyed his use of the
F***ing with the heart chakra. Everything needs debunking, but everything...or am I just too, too weird?
You do bring up the other best solution to suffering: redeeming it for the
good of others. No need to fill an entire book of stamps before you can turn it in, you know what I mean? Half a book, or even a page will do. Took me
a lifetime (to date) to get that one. I took lots of rest stops along the way to rant at all sorts of things and beings, mostly fellow travelers. A
lot of it seems pretty silly now but it sure didn't then...

Ladies,
I try things in the "subversive spirituality" category. Such as:
Modeling courage and integrity, sharing audiotapes and books,
injecting higher thoughts into base conversations, leaving literature about the break room, etc.
When in a dark place
sometimes it is best to leave, but
sometimes the best thing to do is shine some light, ya know?
It IS frustrating however. The younger people I work with are more likely to get this "subversive spirituality" or be open to it than my age peers.
Meetings were the hardest part. I took to doing open eyed meditation and
praying for everybody during that time. It helped the time pass anyway.
In spite of all of this my body can hardly stand being at work anymore. I make it in only about 3 days per week now and although I am less healthy for
it I consider it a service as well as a financial necessity. I am hoping and praying for a better solution...
Let's join together in prayer (or whatever you are comfortable with) in
seeking right and abundant livelhood for one another, shall we? I want a nice miracle about now.

I started a new job in September and faced an extraordinary amount of negativity from this architectural/engineering corporation. A lot of what I
was absorbing was due to inefficiencies by the previous employee who was fired for revealing confidential information.
I was told by a psychic to surround myself and my work area with a bubble of
cosmic white light protection every day. She also said the situation had to due with geomancy, of negativity within Mother Earth (from past events)coming
back up, and suggested I clear the ground underneath the office building with white light in my meditation. I tried these things, and can actually observe
the negativity without being affected by it! Which is great because I am empathic and had developed a lot of pain in my body as a result.
I also try to project love to the partners and employees during especially
stressful times.

Hi M. Thanks for the note.. yes I laughed at Tim's letter too.. it is comical.
Imagine how funny such ravings must appear to the beings on other dimensions!
But thatis the mind dying I think.. losing its control.. having to surrender. I see my suffering in a new light lately.. it was because I
was not seeking my true use of creativity.. and my soul was going tocheck me off the planet if I did not come up with something to make me findthis
soul purpose. Fortunately at the 11th hour, because of an old soul mate demanding I listen to him, I found it. I was so very "protected" in my
spiritual practices.. had a good thing going...and was not really letting in anything to disturb that. He opened a flap in the tent and
yelled,"Help I need you to get off your ass and be the being I know you to be from aeons of time past!ATnospamATnospam" I could not ignore that and stepping
outside the tent.. yes against all the wisest counsellors and advice of friends... I found my multi-dimensional self. I became a goddess.. the one
he had told me I was. It was revelatory..epiphany etc. Cannot ever be the same. Suffering was the blinking light tht told me something was not
"functioning" properly. Ruth

I'm sure most everyone has heard of the concept "soul mates." This weekend I heard of a new concept called "twin flames."

I think I have met my twin flame...yet I wonder if I'm just going off the deep end here. This man and I have been doing this strange energy
dance for the past 6 weeks. We don't really know each other we are just doing a project together. Yet I felt the first moment I saw him that I
knew him. I recognized his soul. It's as if I can see completely through his personality that he wears for the world straight through to his
essence. Nothing is going on between us physically. Energetically, it's like we're having sex.
Has anyone heard of the twin flames concept? Can anyone provide
clarification to identify if a person is a twin flame (or is it one of those knowing things.) Has anyone experienced this energy interaction of
which I speak? Does this awareness have anything to do with kundalini?
