Hi Nancy-
Thanks so much for sharing the "negativity" excercise with us. It
sounds like a comfortable way to go about an uncomfortable subject! The
only thing Im confused about, is that you mentioned the "LEFT" side being the
side to face toward the negative energy. I was always taught through years
of study, that the left side is the "RECIEVING SIDE" or also known as the
female or Yin side. Could you check it out from your original source just
to be sure weve got it right? Id really like to start using the excercise,
but I dont want to get into any more "Trouble" than Im already in. Im like a
sponge with energy, and before I begin, I need to be sure Its OK.

Kathy, I think it would be a good idea to "follow your intuition" when you
get the feeling you want to run away from the negative feeling people. No, I
dont think youre showing a lack of compassion, I think God is trying to teach
you to protect yourself, so that you can use that loving compassion when its
REALLY needed. You know when that is. No one needs to tell you. Your heart
is gonna pop from all the love and compassion you hold in it! I picked up
that "energy" from reading your post. You just take care of your sweet
energy, and PAY ATTENTION when that voice tells you to LEAVE THE SITUATION.
Thats the voice of God-Or "your" higher self coming to the rescue. And
about the Purple light? I have the same light popping up all the time.
Wish I knew EXACTLY what it was, but I favor the theory that it's something
that makes ME very special, and very loved by my angels and the universe.
They're "working" with me. Im "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" so to speak.
No one will ever be able to tell us exactly what that light, blue or
purple is supposed to mean, but if you ask "inside" you'll hear some kind of
answer, Im sure of it. Go with it. Doesnt it make you feel kinda

The difference between reality and fantasy is very simple: fantasy is what you
believe reality to be. Reality is what is, not what you want, not what you believe, but
what is.
Now if a person has a subjective experience, no matter how intense or how much they learn
from it - if they think it is real; they are engaged in fantasy. You see a film, you read
a novel, you learn - the film/book is of value but not real.
How does this apply to kundalini: Well much of the experiences of K are triggered by
trauma, stress or mental disorder. This is why when kundalini is deliberatly invoked it
is a delicate and precarious process. One of the major difficulties seems to be that
subjective experiences of very superficial importance are seen as indicative of
'spiritual progress'.
The reason for this tendency is very simple, why be mentally ill when you can be having a
'kundalini experience'. Why say depression when 'dark night of the soul' sounds so much
more romantic.
So how can we differentiate the real from the spurious? Its simple really. The Real has
no doubts and improves the overall well-being of the person and the spurious will justify
the validity of its experience . . .
The genuine kundalini experience will also increase peoples abilities. People have talked
about increased capacities of various kinds. Some of these can be very powerful. Another
reason why kundalini can be detrimental to spiritual growth is because people say, 'hey
look I am effecting the micro-wave - must be advancing spiritually!'
Fantasy.
I have seen people with marked psychic gifts and yet they have as much spirituality as
those who make judgements ;)
How are we to judge anothers spirituality - can we do this? Well despite what people
think - it is possible to understand where people are in their development. It is
possible to know who is genuine, who deluded and so on. This may be a K gift or similar
but it is there and some will verify this from their knowing.
People do not like this. It is after all elitist or seems to be. However with such a
capacity comes the duty to point out or make people aware of their blocks, conditioning,
illusions and so on. It also comes with a healthy dose of humility. After all people hate
the truth, flattery will (after all) get you everywhere . . .

Maybe the paranoid cowering in the the corner became to sensible to it's
environment.
Maybe people are really trying to kill him, just by their thoughts,
unbearable to him/her.
Maybe is he/she a mirror to our society, a probe into the unconscious
of humanity.
Maybe society doesn't want to listen to him yet.
Maybe what he/she lives is to deep for our Light to bear, yet.

I understand your point, and I think it's good to bring it up sometimes,
just wanted to had a couple of "B-mols" to it.

Jesus when he choose the cross, did he improve is overall well being?
Knowing, being, the being we refer to is an important factor in what
will draw the line between reality and fantasy, if their is a real line
to be drawn.

Thank you so very much for revealing yourSelf a little bit more to me, a
newbie to the K-List.
I have carried on a little bit of private correspondence with Sri
Flarity --- for as a newbie, although I do not know what (?) is really
"Going On" --- I assure you: i know something Happened.
As a list newbie, I can tell you that for me Sri Flarity's posting was
very insightful and helpful.
I even re-read ALL the items at the kundalini website for a third time.
In fact, I have notified JP Flarity with many of my personal reactions
---- both to his original posting, and what happened thereafter.
