Every night, Frank would go down to the liquor store, get a six pack,
bring it home and drink it while he watched TV. One night, as he

Because of travel I seem to be perrennially (sp?) behind in this newsgroup
- but I think this is a great question. I think that entire societies have
similar expressions of kundalini energy - i.e. the society tends to
influence the expression of the energy. I think that American society, and
perhaps western society as a whole, increases the expression at the Ajna
cakra (between the eyes), the manipura (navel) and the svadisthana (base of
sex). This is reflected in our societal pre-occupation with intellect,
power and sex (respectively) and neglect of heart (heart) and spirit
(crown). I've had some conversations off-line about heart centered/head
centered etc. but I think that the goal is that we fully express the
kundalini energy while harmonizing it in all of its manifestions. Even
intellectually understanding this allows us to harmonize patriarchy with
matriarchy, heart-centered and head-centered etc.

I think that kundalini is a strong amplifier wherever it is directed. Some
people will become very prolific intellectually, others emotionally, some
will harmonize the two. Kundalini will bring passion and intensity wherever
it is directed but ultimately the personal manifestation must be harmonized
with the cosmic manifestation - otherwise all that is intensified is
personal egotism.

Hi Linda,
I never really thought much about ego until K entered my life and
prodded and poked the subject. In my pursuit of information and
knowledge about the ego I have come to the following conclusions:
1. The ego is a parasite.
In the Akashic Records I have watched the "descent" of the ego into my
aura. This occurred certainly more than 60,000 years ago. It also
occurred as a world wide phenomena. Until that point humanity lived
without the ego. We used our higher faculties to much greater extent and
we certainly didn't have the fear that exists among us today. We lived
in the same bodies for up to 1000 years and spent a lot of time out of
our bodies, allowing them to regenerate. The ego permeated our energy
and attached itself well. Although I haven't looked into its source I
felt the ego came from outside our planet.
2. Is the "healthy ego" aspect of our Self is really the higher aspects
of our being? The Higher Self or Highest Self that has no judgment,
fear, criticism, etc.
3. "To deny that which exists in ourselves only creates stronger
shadow"
Certainly when we start choosing to transcend the ego it becomes
stronger. As it fears its host is about to cast it aside it reinforces
its "roots" and digs a little deeper to hold on. We can easily
underestimate the strength of the ego. After all it has been attached to
us for a very long time. At times when I have been growing beyond my
limited ego self it has caused quite severe physical problems. Its aim
is turn us from the path of enlightenment where it is no longer needed.
4. "we are individuals" Being egoless doesn't make us less an
individual. Being egoless allows us to use our full potential in
whatever field or area we choose. It is the ego which holds us back from
achieving the maximum that we desire.
5. I run a workshop where we do a meditation on bringing the ego out of
the Self, looking at it, identifying it and communicating with it.
Some of the common reactions are the ego will act like the "poor me"
saying "don't forget me, I'm here to help". Other times it won't come
out to be seen. It also has cut, scratched and threatened its host/s in
the meditation.
I don't want to destroy my ego. I have chosen to work on releasing its
attachment to me that that it may fulfil its destiny elsewhere and I may
reach my full potential as an enlightened being on earth.

You are probably right.... I couldn't quote from memory and had to
therefore quote the definition from the New World Dictionary. ... but it
is the American Language version, not the Aramaic.

Oh.. about AMEN According to Prayers of the Cosmos Translatd and with
commenary by Neil Douglas Klotz (it is the Aramaic translation of some
of the bible text and is interestingly different than the King JAmes
Version . I'll put it in my Marketplace book store so you can order it
if you like). This is quoted from the book
"The word is Ameyn and sealed agreemens in the Middle East: It was a
solemn oath (and probably better than our written contracts) Behind this
word, which could also be translated as "truely" was the sense of giving
"Power to" whatever form or words prceded it. It has cointinud to carry
this sense in the tradition of gospel music.

Ok here is the craziest dream i have ever had, and i would love to hear what
anyone thinks about it.
IT all began when a friend and I were leaving from my moms house to go to
school for something. Before we left we hid our something in a pipe in the
wall next to the house. On our way there something happened. We were forced
to abandon the truck we were in in order to save our own lives. The chase
that insued took us through a college campus, the high frozen mountian rocks
surrounding it, a strange wooden building, ended in a grotto of trees where
we were shot and killed. Now here is the kicker. The next day we rose from
the dead. I have no memory of how or what happened just that we are alive.
I meet up with my friend again and we confront the killer. The killer
cannot beleive what he sees and is forced to be nice to us in disbeleif. We
both go home to our respective families to say our good byes because we know
that this might not last forever. I go first to my father and ask him to take
me to a brujo or a bruja. He tells me that this is somthing that i must take
care of and that i must go and do what i must do before the killer gets away.
I then go to my mother to tell her what happend. She does not beleive me so
we show her the truck and where it has been for seemingly a week now. She is
a beleiver. I then see my great aunt who is dying in the hospital standing
before me crying. I tell her that I love her and that I am sorry I have not
been around to comfort her. My mother and my grandfather and then go to sleep
hugging my mother for dear life. The next day we go to capture our killer.
At school in the lounge waiting for class the lady in adminstation brings me
a bag. In the bag are two guns, a rifle, a hand gun and a phone. When the
killer least suspects it i draw the hand gun and tell him to go to his seat.
We go to our seat in a rather large class in an auditorioum. A
miscomunication happens and he gets away to the back of the class and gets a
shotgun. I break out the rifle and begin taking shots. I hit him in the leg,
the chest and then 3 times in the head to as sick as this is decipitate him.
Everyone is shocked and yet they somehow believe that we were first killed
and ressurected. After this we prepare to be called into what ever afterlife
there is and say all our good byes. I go to my fathers old house and wait
there for what is to come. As I am leaving through my yard on the side of
the house out comes the killer. He too has ressurected. He brought us both
two gifts. One was that thing that goes on your crib, with the little swirl
and 3 men in a tub thing. It looks like a little rectangle with lots of
little toys on it. The second was another childhood item...my blanket. We
both sit there in marvel at these items and play with them like we did as
children. He seems completely different. He apologizes and we transcend
into somthing amazing....talk about jumping out of bed...i literally ran to
write this down...and here it is for you.

Great dream, it shows part of your ego are being killed off and
transformed, when you go after that part that did it, which is obviously
still a part of your past, since he brings you items from your
childhood, you kill it also, it is transformed and now you have three
little men in a tub, your higher self and he now tranformed parts of
your personality. Death of self dreams are you recognizing the illusion
you exist in, when it is killed off the higher energy comes back in a
higher frequency as you did with your mother and family, and then as
that part from the past did in coming back to you. This is a
cosciousness dream that will mean a lot more to you as time goes on.
Keep a journal. The next time you go through it you may remember the
outcome and understand it while out of the body. The other explanation
is you die from the solar plexus and arise in the heart center. Gloria

Rupert Sheldrake from England has done much research in this area .
He calls it morphic resonance. For more info, look at

The book on Shamanic Travelling I read of the portal guardian in,
( "Spiritwalker: Messages from the Future. By Hank Wesselman",
Bantam New Age Books, ISBN 0-553-37837-6 Paperback $19.95 CDN.)
... Makes it clear that the portal guardian, in spite of it's appearance
and ability to create fear, is a Lightbeing. It's purpose is to test the
evolution of those who would go beyond non-ordinary reality. In his search
to understand his own experiences, Hank quotes Joseph Campbell, "The Hero
With a Thousand Faces".

The Monster Nun guards the playground, keeping the children from running
into traffic, if they are too unevolved to understand the danger and rules
for safe passage across the street. The Catholic elementary School My (10
years) older sister, and I, later, attended, was 4 doors down the street
from our house..parental pressure had repalaced all but two of the
too-harsh Nuns with regular teachers, by the time I attended. Whew!
Two elementary school playgrounds sat across the street from each other,
and a child from the public school was killed chasing a ball across that
street once, running incautiously from one playground to the other. The
teachers guarding the playground at recess were blamed..
The whole time I have been typing this, I have oddly been getting a
persistent childhood memory.. and it must be conntected somehow..
As a tiny child, I was terrified of the three stooges.. would run and
hide when they came on TV.. as my Mother has reminded me with some
amusement..
The really scariest thing was stupid people being mean to each other for
no reason.. and other people laughing at them.. art imitating life.
