Trying to explain what the O of M is presents a challenge. There are
numerous people claiming to be members, priests, high priests... but IMHO
most of them are deluding themselves. I assume you know the basic facts
about Melchizedek (Greek name for Melek Zadok - king of righteousness) in the
Bible. There is more material in the Dead Sea Scrolls and Nag Hammadi
Library pertaining to who they believed Melchisedek to be. In general they
(and Edgar Cayce!) believed him to be a prior incarnation of Jesus. I think
it's pointless to argue whether that's true, but it is part of the mystique.
The Order of Melchizedek -- at least the one I belong to -- considers itself
to be, rather like Paul's description of Melchizedek, outside of time and
space, a part of the eternal priesthood that exists throughout the universe
striving for the unfolding of all beings. The name Melchizedek is attached
to the priesthood here only because that particular being was the one who
brought the knowledge of the priesthood to the earth.
The Priesthood does not espouse much along the line of what would generally
be called dogma. It is less concerned with what people believe than with
what people do. Rather than try to be a religion (ie, something you do on
Sundays), it tries to be a way of life. At the present time we believe that
the current social setup is not really a viable situation for people to
unfold spiritually and feel that it must undergo radical change. Many have
predicted massive earth changes -- I'm sure everyone is familiar with them.
They may be true. Personally, I wonder if what many are seeing is the
destruction of the world as they know it -- i.e., those things that make the
world we live in so comfortable and familiar. I do believe that we are going
to have to lose some of that in order to reconfigure human society in a way
that makes it work FOR individual spiritual growth rather than against it.

Each day I feel like my ego is becoming smaller. Little things no longer
bother me.
I don't have so many preferances about the people I work with, or others
for that matter. It is turly amazing to see these things fall away.
Somtimes I catch a little ego sneaking in saying, "damn it, quit bothering
me, I don't want to do that" and a minute later I will realize what
happened and laugh and go do whatever it was.
Life is huge. Incomprehensible. Inexhuastable.

I once knew a girl when I was in my teens.
She had supposedly set up a spot behind one of my friends houses with a
star of
rocks and eventually there was a small campfire in this place. I don't
know exactly what went on, but I will tell oyou of the end result.
There was a spot where grass wouldn't grow for a while and another friend
of mine learned of this spot and that you could stand here and receive energy.
So a few of us headed out one afternoon near dark so people wouldn't notice
too much. We each took a turn standing there and the energy rush was
incredible.
It made my necklace heat up. I was still religious in a sense that I was
blind and I never got the nerve up to go back or ask how it was done.
When I finally went back later(years), the grass was groown over and there
was no energy spot left.
I cannot find this girl who has moved away and I would love to know what
she did to open this up.
Does anyone know or have suggestions?

HI,
I spent 10 years as a critical care nurse with most of it specializing
in open heart surgery.
Although, the heart is in a place that causes a lot of anxiety when it
is to be operated on. . .after all, its not my brain or my stomach, it
actually heals very quickly.
People bounce back quicker from open heart surgery than abdominal
surgery. Sometimes it takes a full year for people to recuperate from
abdominal as compared to open heart surgery.
My suggestions would be this: find a great energy healer, some one
who is well versed in the understanding of chakras. Have healing
treatments before surgery and after. Have the healer "charge" a
natural material like cotton with healing energy to place over your
wife's chest after surgery. Don't wash it. To be less conspicuous, if
you are sensitive to what others may think , use a cuddly soft
stuffed toy.
After surgery the nursing staff will instruct your wife to do coughing
and deep breathing ( to prevent pneumonia). She will need a large
pillow to hold against her chest to splint the incision. ( this is if
they have cut throw her breast bone -sternum and mediastinum). Her
bones will be wired together post surgery. Charge that pillow with
healing energy too. You can do it by placing your hands on it and
charging it with white light and love. Visualize the energy coming
from your heart thru your hands into the pillow. Don't worry about
doing it wrong. Intention over rides technique.
Any intravenous fluids your wife receives bless the bag that is
hanging with love and healing energy. Have your wife visualize that
love and light is dripping into her body.
Have people pray for her. Have the healer visit her in the hospital.
Find some books on therapeutic touch... Using your hands to help or
heal
by Delores Krieger...and teach yourself this technique so you can work
on your wife your self. There are probably Reiki,Therapeutic Touch,
and Healing Touch practioners in your country. You should be able to
find them in a directory on the internet.
Allow no negative words or thoughts around her. Keep the environment
postively charged.
The energy healer should be able to "rewire" and "restructure" the
chakras after surgery.
Ask for angel healing guides to be present with the doctors and the
rest of the hospital staff.
And get some energy work for you too!

Just to put in a few words here about John Payne. I was on a list with
him for a year or so while he was developing himself as a channeler. I
have great respect for his channelings of Omni. What always impressed me
about him and his channeling is that it is given to us with such love.
You can trust his words as all he wishes to do is bring light and love

Hi everyone
I was practicing kundalini yoga for about one year and half ,now I
have another one year and half practicing hatha yoga, and I want to go
back to kundalini.
In my experience, and as I remember..
1 - kundalini yoga gives me more strength and energy.
2 - it´s benefits are faster than hatha concerning kundalini rising
and opening chackras ( I have a block in my second chackra now, I think
it happened because of driving the car a long time everyday ).
3 - it gives the feeling of well-being.
Now, here in my country nobody knows about kundalini at all, so I have
no information or guidance but of course I have a book and a lot of
kriyas that I´ve been doing before.
If anybody can answer my questions it will be a real good help
1 - is there any dangerous or other side effects if I:
n change the system of practicing ( from hatha to kundalini)?
n practicing alone?
2- can anyone here in the k-list give me advises when I find any
difficulties, concerning kundalini yoga ( as I already had some before).

Of course we can all talk about service to the Goddess - I have of
course invited them to the Kundalini forum but I feel you might also
find the effort worthwhile.
I hope you can not think of the numerous excuses - waste of energy etc.
I think you need to be there and I feel they need to be here . . .

Hi all!
Indeed, an attack of Menieres disease often starts with a ringing in one or
both ears. The characterizing aspect is that one feels quite dizzy,
literally sees the world turn around him or her, often nauseates, is even
vomiting - feels a lot like being seasick - and the quality of hearing
gradually becomes worse after every attack. I read somewhere (think it was
in a book by Detlefsen/Dahlke) this disease is typical for people who are
perfectionists; they try to reach so high, that they lose their
equilibrium. (Could be true for me at the time!) After several attacks
during 5-6 months, the last one came and had me `grounded' for 36 hours.
That was in 1962, but the ringing didn't disappear ever since. The
frequency changes from time to time, so I never get used to it... Sometimes
I hear sounds with a `metallic' extra, browsing a newspaper is as if it is
made of copper sheets and human voices sound as if a carillon is playing.
Has someone experienced this deformation effect?
