Found your statements about kundalini and Reiki very interesting, but as I was
reading them, a question came to mind. What is the reason and mechanism
underlying cancer , from your perspective?
It is often said that as kundalini rises that often health improves, I wonder
what the effect of K- energy releases is on cancer. Being a Reiki initiate ,
second level myself, I have had to work on several people with cancer, and
often for me the feeling that I get from a tumor or cancerous growth is simply
the abscence of energy, etherically, it looks like a black hole to me. I wonder
if K- energy rises, might actually feed certain cancers, actually accelorating
their negative potential. What do you think?
Thanks for your wisdom Lindewey

Hello:
On Sunday's episode of the X-Files, Scully felt she needed a boost, so she
experimented with some body modification. A tattoo. Somewhere on her rear
lower torso, the camera was most discreet. Her choice of design?
Why our very own Oroborus, the serpent with it's tail in it's mouth. Red.
The theme of the tattoo parlor...everybody gets the tattoo that they
deserve...
She decided to get the tattoo after hanging out in a leather bar, with a
stranger she met in the tattoo parlour, whom she asked out and picked up...
The episode continued, it turned out that herself and the fella, who'd
gotten a Bettie Page face that was speaking to him, in spite of some self
inflicted cigarette burns to try to shut it up... they both had been
poisoned by the tattoo ink, which contained rye ergotamine... Scully was
trippin' on Acid. Having hallucinations...
Mulder notes at the end that Scully now has the distinction of being
significant in two X-files cases.
Third strike? Could it be....Scully is K. Awakened!??!! Betcha.
Stay Tuned...
Blessings, Angelique.

I have to say that there are certian levels of love. One can not say that
they love and would sacrofice as much for those of the human race as they
would for those that they have created/been part of and are part of. One can
also say that they are not as is love with say a mass murder as they are a
doer of great deads.
Yes we have love of one type or another for all beings but, the levels are
what we need to clarify to ourselfs and others. Not to do so is to remain
alone/alone in the ivory towers of life. Be the towers in the mountians of
Nepal or the mountians of Education. Yes the life is one to be admired and
time to be with ones creator is always to be in joy with but, it is not what
the creator intended for us as social beings.
A modest observation

Shadow, sorry that you don't share the sence that there is something out
there and in ourselfs that directs our actions. I have seen too many people
who can not figure out what is going on with their lives yet they maintain
the same desrtuctive cycles.
It is call addiction. Worked and saw too much of what the dark side of life
is not to see that there is some kind of cause and affect. I then started to
see that they were breaking some of the rules that have come to human kind
over thousands of years.
I was just a little in belief in the cause and affect before I started in
the place but, became a full believer in power of our minds. Record for me
is under ten minutes between when I thought of someone I had not see in
months and them arriving in the facility.
Coincidence, once yes, over and over and over, no

I have been exploring spiritual awakening since I was a teenager. I am in
my early forties now. I believe that I had my first Kundalini awakening at
the age of 21 or so. At that time I attributed it to a "born again"
experience even though I was not involved at all in Christianity. In this
first experience, I had a sudden rush of energy that expressed itself as
pure love and joy. I remember needing to hug and tell everyone that I met
that I loved them. I struggled for a year alone. I had no idea what had
happened to me and no one seemed to know. I felt so alone that I began to
connect to the Baptist and Charasmatic
hurches. I believe that is where
I began to lose my connection to the energy. The churches are afraid of
the Kundaline because of the activation of the lower Chakras and the sexual
or primal energy that they enact. I, being young and malable, believed
that these feelings were sinful and I too shut down to them.
t took many
years to reconnect to my bod!
!
!
y from the waist down. I needed to explore Zen Buddism and Eastern
teaching to do so. I believe that between these teaching and working with
a teacher who opens the chakras through the heart-center, the wonderful
Serpent Power or Kundalini was reawakened. Through the focus on the
heart-center, I believe that I have had milder symptoms than some of the
people that I have heard and read about. My symptoms and experiences are
as follows: My first really profound experience was that while meditating
I began to vibrate and I felt like I was no longer really connected to my
body. The feeling was wonderful and blissfull. It happened a few more
times after that, at least until I saw a image of someone in the room with
me. I could not seem to open my eyes very wide and everything was blurry.
I thought it was my husband and it seemed as though he was trying to tell
me something although I couldn't hear him. I didn't want to break the
"spell" so I said "Nirvana" so that he wou!
!
!
ld not interupt me, but the word came out in slow motion. He left the
room. After I was done I came out of my room to see him but found out that
he had not come home from work yet. This scared me so badly that I now
won't allow myself to slip into that state anymore. I would really like to
know who or what that was and why I spoke so very slowly. The second
profound experience was that while meditating my bed began to shake a
little. I thought that it was my imagination but it wasn't. I was still
afraid because of the previous experience but I decided to let go and trust
through the heart center. I could also tell it did not feel the same as
before. I began to get very hot and was shaking. I was estatic and
blissful. I'm not sure how long it lasted but I finally went to sleep in
it. Since then the episodes have been less dramatic. I have heat,
vibration, tingling in my hands and feet and throughout my body. Throbbing
that sometime goes to my feet and shakes me. I!
!
!
t can be very uncomfortable. I have pulses of energy going up my spine or
once it danced all over me internally. When I'm scared or resisting, I
have pain everywhere and flu-like symptoms that only last four hours or so.
At those times I can get terrible headaches, throbbing at the neck and
ears. In fact that is what is happening tonite. Tonite the throbbing is
in my heart, my upper heart, my throat, and neck. Not at all pleasing. I
can get so tired that I can hardly get around. Again, these are mild
symptoms and don't happen all of the time. The pleasure and bliss are more
common than the pain.
n the last two years I find that I am more
grounded, centered, a little less prone to anger and depression. I find
joy and pleasure in things that escaped me prior to the Awakening.
gain, I
find myself going through this experience alone. My husband is wonderful,
but he has no idea what is going on and is scared for me. I assure him
that I feel very safe going though this !
!
!
through the heart chakra. Although no matter what the risks are, I
would'nt stop it if I could.
hen I discovered all the information on the
internet, it made me cry. For the first time in many years, I'm no longer
alone.
hank you. I welcome any insights or feedback.

Hi Joe,
Thanks again for your advice on my Reiki learning. About 6 months ago I
had never even heard of it.
I guess, like with every school of knowledge, everyone adds his touch
and knowhow to it... but doesn't it change the original information?
Like Carolyne said, that some of the symbols in Diane Stein's book were
wrong, and that is a highly recommended book. Doesn't that create a
block, to use the wrong symbols, and how do I know which are the ones
that are right or wrong.?. o boy....here we go again...

The more we study religion, beliefs from other cultures the more we can
understand traditions which we have been brought up with. There is real
and vibrant Spirituality in Catholicism and Christianity but just like
with all genuine gold, you have to look further and harder.
To be Spiritual is not to follow a religion but to become religion. In
this sense religion is the expression of the Best that we as Human
Beings can offer. Your religion is in your interactions in day to day
living. Your progress is towards becoming a better person. It really is
that simple (hard as it may seem).

True, we do need our personality and mental strength. But IMHO we must
not forget that the walking stick we may use is not us, and when we have
no need for it we must walk without these props. The body, senses, mind,
intellect and the ego are all tools to help realise the soul or atman.
We can learn our lessons of UNITY with these tools in the initial stages,
but later these have to be abandoned and the journey continued without
them......

I would like to share this dream with you, mainly because it's an unusual
dream for me, but with a very well known myth in it.
Listen, I dreamed of the Deluge. I was in a small mediterreanian village in a room with one
window which had a vue on the sea. I knew it was coming. I waited to see
it. I could see the waves come. They were many of them; so huge, so
powerful, but not violent. I opened the window to fully enjoy their
power. Water was getting in, I closed the window. The village underneath
was underwater now, except for the room I was in for it was in a
building built higher on the surrounding hills. Actually it was one hill,
with a big castlelike wall surrounding it. My room was in that
fortification. Some people, parents of mine, lived in the hill without
much concern for what was happening beyond the wall. Life in the hill was
quite peaceful.
The scene of the waves coming was quite astonishing. The sea was
pretty calm before their arrival. Then from afar the most incredible
waves, 100-200 meters, are travelling to the shore with this
beautiful light from the sky. Incredible.
Voila,
May you all be within the wall when the waves come.
Stefan.

Try pranayam regularly. Everyday in the morning spend 10 minutes sitting in an
upright
position where the spine is staight. Breath slowly and heavily in and out at
the rate of
about 6 breaths a minute, i.e. about one inhale and one exhale cycle in 10
seconds.
Do this as often as possible during travel, work, before going to sleep etc.
When done
regularly this works like magic.
Cheers and love to all

Terrific, fascinating post, Angelique -- Thanks! Did you happen to
catch the tragic/amazing letter reprinted in this month's UTNE Reader
from the serial killer on death row who believes he's suffered from
testosterone run-amok? He's now on a depo-provera-like product and is
finding a humanity and spirituality he never thought he'd ever know.
Also thanks for mentioning the period/new moon/solistice correlation.
Me too and it never occurred to me till this minute. But my ovaries
were surgically removed and I'm on hormones. I only menstruate a
little but get "a period" in all other respects with huge escalations
of K. This last time brought me to some of the worst despair I'd had
since the opening (oh yes, the dark night, it was), not because it was
an old abandonment cave I had to climb into to heal, not because it
seemed to include every paranoid idea I'd ever conjured up about men,
but because it included Spiritual Doubt. It was a vastly powerful few
days and my knees are still shaking.
So I have respect for the way Life acts through the chemicals in our
bodies and how change gets right down to the cellular level. I'm sure
this is true of the androgynizing that you mentioned comes with K.

Joe,
I am curious about your reiki training and where/how you reach the
conclusions you have set forth in your previous post (reiki not being
universal ki, etc...) Could you give me a brief outline of your training
so I have some idea where you're coming from? Did you do any other
healing/energy work which might influence your view on reiki?
I'm a sensei of Usui Shiki Ryoho and Tibetan Reiki, and at present
I do disagree with your views, but I can appreciate your ideas since I too
disagree with most other "masters" as well :-) I am willing to consider
what you have to say, but you really need to back it up with other
information (experience, energy principles, etc) so I know what you're
talking about. It would be too easy for me to just dismiss your last
post, since you didn't go into a lot of depth... such depth might be
alienating for the k-list so you may wish to take this up in private, but
I am very interested....
The attunement process not only does "things" to our energetic
system, but it brings us in resonance with the universal ki. Since the
universal ki is unlimited, and we are connected to/channeling it, the
healing energy we use in reiki is unlimited. Similarly, Koichi Tohei (a
REAL master, not a reiki "master"- he is founder of the Ki Society and
teaches Ki Aikido) makes a point about how important it is to have your ki
"in conflux with the Universal" (to use his words) so your energy will be
virtually limitless. I don't have the book now (I am not at home but will
be in a half hour) but later I will read it over again to get more
specific data.
Argh, I must restrain myself. Before we go into much more depth,
I wish to know precisely where you're coming from so I can understand...
awaiting discussion- hugs,
Steve

A man will fill himself with book-studies and facts. He, or another man,
will fill himself with exercises and practices.
In both of these there is the sensation of accomplishment, and of
significance.
But, just as in order to fill a pot we must have a pot, something which
to fill it, and a sense of measure - only by the correct application of
these factors can man really succeed in in his high task of true
fufilment.
Only in this way can he find himself. In many other ways he can think
that he has found himself, or that he is finding himself, all that
someone can find him for himself. We cannot be concerned about such
people except to be solicitous for their peace of mind and bodily
health.
In order to reach and apply the measure of which I speak, a man must
find an Assembly of Wisdom. It is here, and nowhere else, that the
measure is to be acquired.
There! You have had your Warning. Now go and find the Assembly of
Wisdom. You will find one whose true usefulness corresponds exactly with
your inner sincerity. It you are a hypocrite, you will fall among

Hi,
This dream can be interpreted on several levels, the one that comes to
me most specific is that you are seeing the etheric energies that you
live in as spirit. This is indeed a huge ocean with grand waves, the
spiraling energies we feel in our bodies are also the energies as
frequencies we must become aware of that creates change in the spirit
world, and thus it manifests in the material world as well.
Matter is the lowest manifestation of spirit, but when you are in your
light body at one with light which in your dream is ocean, you notice in
spite of the wall around you as expereinced in your dream, you are very
aware of the cosmic energies coming into your consciousness as your
soul/spirit is governed by these frequencies.
The body is likely the wall around the village, since indeed within
yourself is the cosmic universe as reflection of the manifest universe,
as above so below. This is the estoteric interpretation, you can bring
it down from there into many aspects as well as the earth changes. When
you also look at each center as specific freuquencies, you can enter
another intpretation through the center you were in while having the
dream. All of these can be correct, but what is important is how it
relates to your life in the here and now. Gloria

Lynn, Hi, I'm Gloria. After reading your story the first thing that came
to me is that in sharing this your fear came to the surface. Although
you say you wouldn't stop if even if you could, enough negative energy
from not knowing comes in to just distort it enough to leave you
confused.
Tell me more about your spiritual beliefs. And, also tell me more about
what you know of the heart center. You mentioned being taught in Eastern
beliefs some also. What meditation are you now doing?
Entering into kundalini awakening is indeed a blessing but it also
brings along challenges. The need for a disciplined mind, and the
ability to detach from the world around you becomes essential. Since we
are entering each day into a more dynamic relationship with cosmic
forces it is really utmost that one become aware of his or her
relationship with Divine will as opposed to self control, etc. This
becomes your foundation for dealing with not knowing. If one is not
working from inner knowing and faith it is very easy to lose the ability
to detach as the energies deal with emotion and physical changes,
knowledge of vibration and frequency becomes important since one can
then observe rather then react and then in the observing the illusion is
also recognized.
The out of body experience you had with what appeared to be your husband
is not at all unusual, in most circumstances spirits will appear in the
form you are most comfortable with, the fact that you were afraid tells
me that it was an energy that was not of light to you. Learning to test
spirits will assist with this process, one learns to see through and
understand the energies at work on the spirit side as well as from the
world perspective. To go into this deeper I would want to know your
spiritual belief system. Thanks for sharing. Gloria

Marco,
What in your life is putting you into a spin? Observe it and let go.
When you do this your clarity will return, this is also called
detaching. Then simply go into your heart mantra stay focused and ask
for aissitance from the Holy Spirit, Be Still and Know I Am God.
In most instances your in reation to the world around you with this
going on, you are not getting inside to listen and release your
thoughts, fear, etc. Does this fit? Gloria

Hello
In the past 4 days I have had 2 disturbing dreams. I know this isn't
about Kundalini but please bare with me.
I usually dont have bad dreams at all but on early Monday morning I
dreamed that someone close to me named George - now I dont know any
George in real life- was dying. I was at the hospital with him. I
remember telling him he wasn't going to go through this alone. I then,
for some odd reason left for about 1 hour. When I came back he had died.
I awoke soon after and was very upset. I even had a few tears fall.
The second dream took place early this morning. This dream was about my
5 year old daughter. I dreamed that she was missing for about 5 days and
then turned up dead. Now you can imagine this is upsetting. I love her
immensly and never want anything to happen to her.
Can anybody give me any help on this. I dont usually have bad dreams but
have been known to have a few psychic dreams and experiences.
Thanks
Maryann
