This is very interesting because for 4 years in a row I broke my
tailbone in the fall. I would either fall down the stairs or fall on
the ice. I thought it was a message that I wasn't going in the right
direction. Now I realize it was probobly Kundalini. Mine also was a
spontaneous Kundalini awakening, a year after my last fall. Love and
Light, Colleayn

We swim in a sea of prana, but certain types of prana that we take in e.g.
breathe, eat , see, hear, feel ,taste, and smell, are more usable to us than
others, according to many factors. Some foods such as living high enzyme foods,
foods with lots of chlophyll, and algae, because they are all so full of solar
prana ( the highest for of life force aquirable to us), can stimulate the upper
end of the Kundalini spectrum within us. If the wiring in our nervous systems
are sufficiently evolved to be able to carry the current load, than this can
manifest in the three lower worlds, as emittions of light , heat, or other
phenomenon. If not than it may manifest in the form of burn out, chakra
blowing, or physical ,mental, emotional symptoms of disease. Prana overload can
be devastating, and that is why there is the process of transmittion of
shakti-pat. This is a special dispensation so to speak, which allows a quick
roto rooter effect to our circutry, opening our channals wider in a flash of
light, so that we can handle the extra life force.

In the Srimad - Bagavatum, and the Bagavat - gita the writtings about the
gopis, as well as the writings on Sufism, and the swirling dervishes may hold
some keys to this process for you.

Tumo is a body heat generated by Tibetan Yogis without parrafin heaters.
The traditional test is drying out icy water soaked sheets by the bodies
fire. We use central heating.
Now.
Prana.
The key to physical health is relaxation and the key to relaxation is
the breath. The most important component of the breath for relaxation is
the outbreath.
The following is a safe rejuvenating, invigorating and relaxing
breathing technique which has formerly only been passed on in secret and
as far as I know not been revealed publically before (people with high
blood pressure or very tense should proceed very gently):
The technique can be used standing or sitting upright.
1. Link the fingers and place behind the head.
2. Breath in whilst moving the elbows back and applying a forward motion
to the head whic is kept stretching straight.
3. Turn the hands so that they face upwards (still linked if possible).
Breath out slowly and gently and push your hands to the sky and slightly
to the back (as relaxed as possible). Your straightened arms will be
alongside you ears.
4. Breath normally but slowly relaxing into this position for several
breaths focussing on slowing the out breath
5. Continue an outbreath and lower the hands to behind the head
6. Repeat
7. Finish by tapping all over the head and massaging the back of the
neck.
The technique can be safely used by anyone to relax the breathing,
shoulders and upper back and neck.
There is a further component which may be of interest to those who
practice this for several months. The above is the health component and
must be done first.
Most Kind Regards
Lobster

I have fallen behind in my reading of these posts and am trying to catch
up. Since there are still many more for me to review, please forgive me
if this opinion has been voiced multiple times already. After going
through the last 100 or so posts, I too have noticed the emotionally
charged diologue going on. Having lived with a continuously active
Kundalini for over 6 years now (and sporadically active for 14 years
before that), I can vouch for the fact that Kundalini does indeed bring
up the emotions to be looked at. Therefore, I say BRAVO to this
wonderful response by Susan. It could not be more perfect. Thank you.

i have experienced symptoms like that simply from shakti opening the
crown, i'm not sure they go with burn out though as one simply becomes
bigger and experiences all kinds of psychic effects....
after a couple of years the light decided that phase was over and almost
overnight the stomach and big round face were gone and everyone assumed
i'd been dieting or running marathons whereas i changed no aspect of
life whatsoever....
i had never even heard of Klamath Lake blue-green algae until yesterday.
i can believe what you say about its pure origins.....
i've got some literature on it and am thinking about looking into it as
a dietary supplement as it is the purest spiritual food i have ever
tastest, and i have experimented with many diets over the years....
while i know the limits of food for helping spiritual development, this
stuff is nectar judging by the two samples i tried yesterday. i wanted
to try some more, but was embarrassed to go back to the stand at this
spiritual convention.......
had come to think that 14 years since shaktipat, pranic food was not
very important so long as i was sensible and ate fruit and vegetables
and nuts and pulses and whole grains........
here's a brief summary of the claims:
due to its exceptional purity and rich makeup of vitamins, minerals,
trace elements, carbohydrates and fatty acids, and proteins, and
chlorophyll,
it is a brain and body booster
and is already being recommended by some healers and therapists in
various fields
it has had some success in raising children's academic performance in
primary school in Nicaragua
people report increased memory and brain functions...
there is some evidence to suggest it may have played a part in helping
people with Alzheimer's
and it is also said it can help relieve toxic buildup, obesity, poor
nutritional takeup
and also help with ME and viral conditions....
the manufacturers recommend two capsules a day, but they aren't
particularly cheap at 16.90 (UK pounds) for 60 capsules
but perhaps the outlay would be worth it if one's in need of prana and
healing and "brain food".....
definitely worth checking out if one is interested in spiritual and
healing effects of good nutrition.
love
Tom
ps does anyone know of anything that can match this kind of nectar ?
the only things i have tasted remotely like this are exceptionally juicy
sun-ripened fresh fruit, particularly melon, peaches, pears and mango,
and perhaps also fresh figs from the Mediterranean and organic sundried
raisans from California, alhough these were more subtle and more diluted
in their pranic content than the blue-green algae
pps let's talk food ! why not ?

I have had a big problem with going these health food routes.... it is
really kind of spiritually funny ... when you look at it from different
angles... I'm not exactly for sure what I am to learn from this... so I
am just listening to myself more instead of others.
My big problem has been that I have often become very ill on various
acclaimed regimes for cleaning, etc. It turns out I have a genetic
intolerance of even some of the things in the blue-green algae pills. I
can't digest some of what is taken. I have an idea that it is better if I
stay mostly in the cereals, fruits, veggies... my makeup is so that I do
better if I eat meat occasionally but rarely red meat/white. And I think
if I am mindful of the eating and allow gratitude to lead the way, and bless
the food... then I am hoping that offsets all the environmental additions
to the food.
Is chocolate a fruit or a vegetable?

Bee pollen, royal jelly, and bee propolis are other examples of
perfect foods.
As with blue-green algae is balanced for proteins, carbs, fats,
(good fats), RNA, DNA, vitamins, minerals and so on.
Most people I know use these for energy with great success.
Bee keepers in China who eat much of this stuff live unusually
long lives.
Senator Harkin cured his life long affiliation with asthma using
massive quantities of bee pollen.
It's also a proven anti-viral, antibacterial agent.
Also boosts the immune system and balances the hormones.
Don't take the stuff myself but the research is overwhelming.

Cocoa is an herb.
Due to the presence of caffeine and other unidentified
substances; chocolate, or cocoa enhance brain activity
and have antidepressant properties.
Also contains theobromine,a substance chemically related
to standard treatments of asthma, which opens bronchial tubes.
And of course let's not forget the recently discovered
cannabinoids.
Though not as much as some people would prefer.
Eat up!

about 20 years ago, but did not become troublesome and constant until a
little over 6 years ago. The awakening was spontaneous. Although I've
always been deeply spiritual, and have been a "seeker" for most of my
life, I didn't even know what Kundalini was until around 5 years ago.
However, these two posts have caused me to remember that I did have a
very bad fall which jarred my tailbone and was sore for quite some time
afterward. I'm trying to remember how many years ago that was. It's
very possible that it corresponds with my original awakening 20 years
ago. I also have a twisted spine! Perhaps that is why my process has
been so difficult. I'm going to explore this through memory and
meditation. If I get any useful information, I'll pass it on. This is a
great list. It's comforting to hear from so many who can relate to what
I have been experiencing all these years. Thanks everyone.

It always boils back to trusting and letting go of whom you think you
are, so that you can find out who you really are, which is the
unknown... It is always the letting go of that controling, manipulating
energy. That isn't you, that is the shadow. We are seeing you ...the
real you in this post. This being is exposing himself which is hard to
do. This is you in your nakedness, but it is also you in the essence of
highest good, your humility and your love..
<endsnip>
Yes, I do feel naked. You have seen a thin veil that I have cast aside in the previous post which was concealing a deeper manifestation of my personality. But I feel that to say that the veil is not the "real me" or that the shadow is not me is not quite correct. All of what I say, post, think, feel, DO and BE is the real me even if I were to lie and try to conceal myself! Yes, on my path I make an activity such as letting go of (or maybe "ceasing to identify with" describes it better) that controling, manipulating energy, but that shadow is me just as much as the highest good, humility and love. I feel if I am to let go of the shadow, I must also let go of the light to retain some balance. I should cease to identify with either.
Your response was quite thought-provoking. Lately I feel that thinking about spirituality is a lesser activity than DOing and BEing on the path. As you say, I THINK I know who I am. This happens when I make an activity such as thinking. To discern the FEELing of whatever passes before me seems a much deeper activity. I have done this with your response and I feel your love and kindness.
Love and Kindness to You.

I know these "awakenings" can happen this way. I am presently opting for
less dramatic things than have happened to me in the past. Craniosacral
applications seem to be a good way. The Upledger Institute in Fla. teaches
it around the world. It is the biological side of our kundalini and
attempts to restore optimum functioning to this vital pump in our bodies.
There is no doubt that after even 5 minutes of it, I am greatly relaxed,
feel much greater integration of my body and mind and am easily able to
shift states of consciousness. Another thing they do is what I am looking
into now and that is somatoemotional releases. It allows you to release
past emotional as well as physical injuries by going into tissue and muscle
memories. I find it fascinating.

> MorganaWell, you really have me wondering now. My Kundalini awakening began
about 20 years ago, but did not become troublesome and constant until a
little over 6 years ago.
