I have found, that for Bliss,
one can meditate, and Pray, like this,
in a comfortable chair, or any position at all,
which, can be maintained, for hours, and hours...
And, one prays to the Great Spirits, then, contemplates,
a loved one, in embrace, like the tantric statues, of Hindus,
the Bliss, will shoot up, and up, inside the body, to the mind,
and, or, the spine, in a location, that's divine, so refined,
and like an ocean of waves, and waves, rolling out to sea.
but, it is good to love someone, in your heart, in your heart,
when you start, and love it all, all the ways up to God,
doing contemplative prayer, in care of, the Great Spirit...
Now, if you hold that person, of your dreams, in your loving arms,
infecting them with Bliss, and, during,this, while loving,
loving, loving, loving them, while loving the Great Spirits,
whirling up,up, up and up, in Spirals of Love, above the clouds,
Towards the Sun ,on Eagle Wings of God, in God, in God, in God,
It will bring the Green Gold up,of the earth, as far, far, far, as you
can,
Imagine, and Dream, sometimes, farther, than you planned, into the
Star of Infinity.

I agree... especially thru experiences from the past couple of years...
about what you say of the importance of the heart chakra. I also believe
that even tho most teachings and meditations help you open from the bottom
up... "tearing the veil from the top down" opens up even greater
potentials. I like to use colors with my chakras also... and it also
helps me to signal myself when I need to address blocks, especially
emotional blocks that I have in myself. It usually comes to me with the
colors muddied or not as clear as they should be.... and then I know better
what I need to work on in myself. I talk with the Holy Spirit and this I
feel in my heart chakra.
Am just finishing reading the Return of the Bird Tribes by Ken Carey.
There is a chapter in there on purification. It speaks to what many have
said in this forum and speaks also of right action (which is important).
It is one of the most beautiful and comprehensive pieces of work I have read
in a long time as far as being in the moment and getting your intent and
thoughts in alignment with Spirit.

Thanks Lobster for the kind works. After three and a half years in a detox
as lead technician I am only now seeing how totaly it involved and devolved
me. Went in to the place from a position of positive but, got caught in a
warp of some type.
What with the help of many, hopefully I can get out of the negative aspects
that became the normal.

When I read Lobsters mantra it remembered me of the
'Litany against Fear' from the books of Frank Herbert.
It might help (at least it is the attitude I'm trying to have with fear)
I must not fear.
Fear is the Mind-Killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when the fear has gone past, I will turn the Inner-Eye to seek its path.
Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Pointing to the Sacred Earth
I saw a video of a BBC documentary last night about the Kogi people of
the Colombian Sierra Nevada. Hardly anyone knew they even existed until
1990. They had fled to the hills when the Spanish conquistadors arrived
400 years ago.
They decided it was time that they told their Little Brothers - that
includes Us - where it was all going wrong. It really is a wonderful
documentary.
Maybe someone has been strongly moved by other indigenous cultures with
a message relevant to making sense of the kundalini experience ? If so,
let us know. They make it all so simple....
From the Heart of the World
A unique BBC documentary in 1990, From The Heart of the World. In the
Sierra Nevada of Colombia, 400 years after withdrawing into the hills to
escape the murderous Spanish colonialists, an ancient people called the
Kogi emerge for the first time. They are the last surviving pre-
Colombian people left.
No one knows their language. Only one of them speaks Spanish. He
explains that they have been watching the developments in the world and
call Western man "Younger Brothers - Children who do not understand the
need to take care of the world."
Their lands are a microcosm of the whole planet. They enjoy a full
spectrum of habitats including rain forest, mountain peaks, mountain
cloud forest and desert. Virtually any plant on the planet can grow
here. Almost any kind of animal can find a suitable habitat.
Their architecture and metalwork are profoundly skilled.
Now hundreds of Colombian treasure seekers are desecrating the Kogi's
most sacred tobs in search of treasure and gold.
The Kogi have been practicing a sophisticated and subtle form of
permaculture or sustainable agriculture.
But the ravages of the alien local farming methods are beginning to
encroach on the lush vegetation and balanced sustainable agriculture
which have served the Kogi for centuries. Visitors have been kept away
by the terrain and the passive resistance of the Kogi who simply block
the path of anyone entering their territory.
This meeting is a significant meeting of cultures. The Kogi say:
"Younger Brother is at the gate of the Older Brother."
A priest explains what is happening to the planet:
"In the beginning Great Mother divided up the Earth.
Great Mother taught us right and wrong.
Now Younger Brother is taking out Mother´s Heart, cutting out her eyes
and ears.
The world will end if you do not stop digging and cutting.
Water below is drying up.
You are bringing the world to an end.
Your looting will destroy it.
You´ve taken the Guardians of the sun and stars.
The whole world will go black."

Connected to the Earth

We find Peace
With Peace comes Love
Love nurtures the Sacred
Leading us to Light
Wisdom and Happiness
All across the globe, people are beginning to understand that the Earth
must be protected from exploitation and destruction.
That the feminine aspects of our own psyche need to be nurtured until
they manifest in the Awakened Heart.
That we are raping and wounding the Goddess in so many ways.
That this way of existence cannot go on.
It is only when Man and Woman work together in harmony with the Great
Mother that Peace will arise.

By drawing a distinction between Self and Other, Man and Nature, Means
and Ends, we create the conditions for the rape of the Earth, the
Goddess, Gaia, Mother Nature, the Wisdom Cultures and the Inner Woman.
When dualistic distinctions dissolve there is One.
Through realising the One, We end the destruction.
By creating a culture in which relationship with Spirit and Nature is
not important to our development, all manners of evil can be perpetrated
simply to protect the power and pleasure that passes for progress.
In this way, the birth of Spirit can be seen as crazy.
We can ourselves easily resist the Goddess through ignorance.
The Heart can be mistaken for weakness.
And the Goddess can be wounded and repressed.
Our culture seems able to resist any amount of persuasion from the Heart
and from Wisdom.
A Spiral leads to the Void.
From the Void arises Spirit and Matter which are One.
When Void arises we are at a crossroads of destiny and have to choose
between Life and Death.
Spirit alone is good, but better when it permeates Matter.
Kundalini is just manifestation of the Mother who embraces Spirit and
Matter.
Which arise from the Void.
The traumas of awakening are no more than death throes of a dying
culture.
Each of us must understand the Nature of Void in order to understand
Matter and Mind.
Healing ourselves is all part of the process of remembering the Mother.
When we are centred in the Heart,
We are at Peace
Nothing else will do.

Hi, I'm new to the list. I'm also new to e-mail and computers, so I'm pretty
much winging it. Ken had a question about overcoming the crap in our
lives(I'm paraphrasing here cause I don't know how to type, either). I'm not
sure if my own personal spiritual experiences fall under the Kundalini
umbrella or not. About a year ago I was at the very bottom of pretty much a
lifetime of clinical depression. My doctor had had me on Prozac for six or
seven months, and I was up to four capsules a day. Just going to get help had
a placebo effect for the first few days I was on it, but the medication
itself didn't help at all. Much of my depression was centered on thoughts
about the physical, emotional, sexual and other abuse I grew up with, which
left me feeling pretty much without worth. Out of desperation I turned back
to my Mormon roots. I had had spiritual experiences in the past associated
with fasting, prayer, and scripture study, and I knew they were authentic,
even though much of the pain in my life was from the words and actions of a
few uncaring church leaders and members. I spent literally hours each night
pouring out my soul to my Father, alternately begging and demanding relief.
What happened next was totally unexpected and beyond my ability to fully
describe. I felt as though something inside of me had opened up and I was
filled with peace and joy. My prayer became true two- way communication. I
was receiving answers as quickly as I could ask them, and I was being
prompted what to ask. These question and answer sessions went on for three
nights. The third night I asked that they end, because I was totally drained
physically from the experience, and was missing time at work. While this was
happening I was guided to a book in thriftstore that I liked to go to. Its
title was "Kundalini Energy and Christian Spirituality", by Philip St.
Romain. I opened the book and was amazed to see him describe some of the very
same experiences I was undergoing. I was told that I shouldn't read the book
until later, which seemed wise.Some of the phenomena that I experieced
included seeing visions of swirling gold shapes on a field dark blue or
purple. Sometimes the visions were like an animated stained glass window,
with floral designs, or gear-like circles turning slowly. These were visible
whether my eyes were opened or closed, and sometimes it seemed that I could
see the room around me even when my eyes were closed. During this time I
experienced really bad headaches at the crown of my head, which I thought
were caused by fatigue until I read St. Romain's book. I also noticed that
when I described these events to my wife and a few very close friends that I
would unconsciously start rubbing a spot on my body just at or above my solar
plexus. I also started feeling a muscular twitching in that same area, a few
days on one side of the solar plexus, then a few days on the other. After a
few weeks I noticed that the muscle in this area had spontaneously grown
larger and firmer without any kind of exercise. I don't have time to describe
everything else that happened except to say that I was told that none of us
is perfect, and we're all children of Heavenly Parents who love us and want
us to learn and grow during our stay here. It is only through forgiveness
that we can become whole. The smaller your pride/ego/shame/vanity the more
you can get in touch with your true self and the less you care about what

Ron,
Philip St. Romain was a member of the list for a short time when we
started it. He and I became friends and exchanged books. Since then we
do stay in touch, he is a very beautiful person and his book brings
kundalini and the Holy Spirt together which provides a solid teaching on
kundalini.
There is a tremendous amount to learn in relationship to kundalini and
the movement on the path. It is a process that will take you through out
your life time. It is really a matter of getting in touch within so that
you can learn to accept what is happening and flow with whatever comes
your way. It is important to monitor your thoughts and detachment from
them, in this way you create a distance between you and what you think.
Mediation increases your light in the body, helps you hold on to the
light, and gives you the opportunity to shift the consciousness into
spiritual realms. You will receive positive communication on the list,
don't be afraid to ask for help. Gloria
