Fear and Anxiety and Sadness
what a way to go crazy, lady
I can't think of anything
better, even a tickling feather
doesn't do the trick like this,
gotta flow, child, get with it
go with the rolls and slide
through, on, out ,over the top
and you will see history
repeat itself, less painfully,
because, you know how to
transform the moment of
your life, my friend, that is
all you need to know how to
survive the most lonely,
desolate, conditions known
to man, is to Create your own
Reality over and over and over
and over and over again...yes....

Make no mistake - humility is the with holding of strength - not the
expression of weakness.
The reason that so many of us turn to Paganism, Eastern religions and so
on is because of the rather sad spectacle of Church Christianity. Like
many on this list I have the highest regard for Christianity as a
mystical tradition but very little time for some of its silliness. This
of course applies to all religions/paths.

mmm . . .
your job is to excel those moments - and not expect any recognition.

prior to masturbating, energize the heart chakra, then it is safe to begin.
Sexual arousal is a form of building energy and sensation. Take that energy
and sensation when you've become sexually aroused and send it down to the
first chakra, into the spine, and up the spinal column. I've lit up my
chakra and had mild K awakening this way, but it does take practice. Try to
delay orgasm as long as possible, and this is basically the end of your
meditation. If you do it right, you'll get into the energy aspect of it so
much that you'll probably stop masturbating so you can enjoy the energy, and
then it'll be easier to start up again and recharge your system when the
energy begins to dissapate.

Play nice (with yourself) ;)

Many of the members have written about the help that they have received from
Paulson's book, Kundalini and the Chakras. There is, however another book
that was of much more help to me. In the beginning when I had not a clue as
to that which was making itself known to me, Kundalini.

I bought the book by John White 'Kundalini, Evolution and Enlightment' This
book explains the magnetic field lines around the head, how the energy
travels, the entire phenomenon of kundalini, studies in bioenergetics,
physiological studies, the biological basis of k, classical and clinical.
The chapters are authored by many, a few of those whom have contributed to
this book are: Lee Sannella, Swami Muktananda, Gene Kieffer, Gopi Krishna,
Itzak Bentov (Stalking the Wild Pendulum) Erik Floor, Tontyn Hopman, Alice
Bailey, Khalsa, Yogi Bhajan, Swami Ajaya, only to name a few, as well as
John White.

On the same note, may I add that I have seen posts from those whom are
interested in magik. Perhaps you may wish to peruse 'Enochian Yoga' Gerald &
Betty Schueler have done an excellent job of explaining the magikal system
developed during the Renaissance period of Elizabeth I, a synthesis of
Western and Eastern thought and method for spiritual attainment. The book
lists the thirty Aethyts, the round table of Nalvage, shows the hexagrams
for Earth, water, fire and air, and the ritual for them. Just thought I
would pass along this information to those whom are interested. dor

Dear Friends,
This our space on the Internet should also be in harmony . . .
This excerpt in the book "Engaged Buddhist Reader" was written by Thich
Nat Hanh: (typed in by Wolfson Lee)

One time the Buddha visited a small community of three monks in
a
bamboo forest near Kosambi. Anuruddha, Nandiya, and Kimbila were
extremely happy to see the Buddha-Nandiya took the Buddha's bowl,
Kimbila took his outer robe, and they cleared a place for him to sit
next to a yellow bamboo thicket. With their palms joined, the three
monks bowed to the Buddha, and the Buddha invited them to sit down.
"How is your practice going?" he asked. "Are you content here? Do you
encounter difficulties while begging for alms or sharing the teachings?"
Anuruddha answered, "Lord, we are most content here. It is calm
and
peaceful. We receive ample food offerings, we are able to share the
Dharma, and we making progress in our practice."
The Buddha then asked, " Do you live in harmony?"
Anuruddha replied, "Lord, we do live in harmony, like milk and
honey.
Living with Nandiya and Kimbila is a great blessing. I treasure their
friendship. Before saying or doing anything, I always reflect on
whether my words or actions will be helpful for my brothers. If I feel
any doubt, I refrain from speaking or acting. Lord, we are three, but
we are also one."
The Buddha nodded in assent and looked at the other two monks.
Kimbila
said, :Anuruddha speaks the truth. We live in harmony and care deeply
for each other." Nandiya added, "We share all things-our food, our
insight, and our experience."
The Buddha praised them, "Excellent! I am most pleased to hear
how you
live. A community is truly a community when there is harmony. You
demonstrate real awakening."
The Buddha stayed with the monks for a month, and he observed
the way
they went begging each morning after meditation. Whoever returned first
prepared a place for the other two, gathered water for washing, and set
out an empty bowl, into which he would place some food in case one of
his brothers did not receive enough offerings. After all three monks
finished eating, they placed their leftover food on the ground or in the
stream, careful not to harm any of the creatures who lived there. Then
they washed their bowls together. When one of them noticed something
that needed tending, he did it at once, and all of them worked together
on tasks that required more than one person. And they sat together
regularly to share their insights and experiences.
Before leaving the Bamboo Forest, the Buddha told the three
monks, "the
nature of a community is harmony, and harmony can be realized by
following the Six Concords: sharing space, sharing the essentials of
daily life, observing the same precepts, using only words that
contribute to harmony, sharing insights and understanding, and
respecting each other's viewpoints. A community that follows these
principles will live happily and in peace. Monks, please continue to
practice this way." The monks were overjoyed to spend a month with the
Buddha and to receive encouragement from him."

Please send your love, light, and healing powers to Logan Snyder, an 8-year
old boy living in Warsaw. He had a malignant brain tumor removed last week.

His original prognosis was frightening, but in 5 days, the doctors are now
saying possibly no kemo/radiation. As his aunt was giving me the update
today, telling me he is on two prayer lists, having remote reiki done on him
as well as Native American Healing, I knew to bring it to the list.

Logan's grandfather had great healing powers. Logan's father was badly
burned as a baby with some hot lard and had some serious scars. One day he
was in his crib at home alone with his father. When other family members
came home, the father was cold as stone and passed out, but the baby no
longer had a single scar.

He told the family he would pass on his gifts when he died but the one he
passed them to denies them as she is fearful.

Let us also ask for her awakening as well as our own.

A recovering catholic,

Susan

This is to thank all of you who responded to my plea for information about
my drudgery through grad school. I very much appreciate your concern and
time.

A strange thing has occurred. I read and relished all the posts. I also
did considerable meditation and prayer on the subject. And now for the
first time in months my narcolepsy has resided. This pattern is not
entirely unusual for me. I venture that somewhere deep inside some part of
me wanted attention and my reaching out met those needs. For I have been
relieved of other maladies by simply asking help before.

Again thank you all. I am nearly caught up on all my projects and hope to
be on track by the weeks end.

I am by no means any kind of expert. I am however a reiki practitioner
that knows a couple of tricks. It seems that you have had tons more
experience with this kind of thing than I, but here goes:

I believe your 3rd eye Chakra has been opened wide. This causes many
headaches if the divine energy cannot be focused and/or there is a
blockage in your throat chakra. Take your hands and rub them together.
Now imagine a flashlight being shined straight down onto your head from
above. Take your hands and shape the light (Believe me, it is there) and
form it above the center of your head. Now close in your hands around
the light and make it a little smaller. This is one remedy of headaches
caused by blockage and/or too much at one time. Another remedy is to
eat something sweet.
