Most auric problems occur because the aura is;
1. not grounded
2. not moving energy because it's not grounded
3. Too thin
I've posted grounding exercises, as have others, and they're in the
archives.
Running energy is simply opening to the energy once the aura is grounded
to earth. Energy sappers can't fix to a moving target.
If you've had a rough childhood and are "sensitive", you've spread your
aura out in a thin cloud as an "early warning system". You can have
that, or you can put yourself out of danger by practicing this exercise
from Akido.
Visualize your aura around your body. Center your awareness in your
belly. Put your aura around your body so that it touches into the ground
beneath your feet. Let your aura expand to fill the room. Now contract
it inwards and squeeze it down to a tiny speck in your chest. Hold it,
then BOOM it out to the walls. Hold it there, then squeeze it in again
until it almost diappears.
Boom in and out four times. You will notice your aura becoming thicker,
and you will experience a greater feeling of safety. Set your aura to 3
feet away from your body AND under your feet into the ground.
Same effect as the exercise you gave, faster results.

I believe I know the answer to your question;
During the Cold War the Soviet Union had an advanced program for psychic
development with a military focus. The US was frantically trying to
catch up. They looked at every discipline with psychic development
techniques, especially for those with prior military use after results
similar to those in the experiment mentioned below.
Some of a group I used to hang with were research sunjects at
then-Stanford Research Institute (now SRI). The test was to see if
people with tested psychokinetic ability could work with clairvoyants
would could "see" into Soviet Military installations. They wanted a team
who could knock out all the computer equipment.
The testing went well until the testees found out that this was a
military application. They stonewalled the rest of the experiment,
because they believed it was an absolute abomination to use the Gifts of
the Goddess for destruction.
I believe that this was the last funding SRI received for psychic
research. Stories say that they had amazing results with a few
idiot-savants who had abilities but lacked discernment. The tellers of
these stories who witnessed the "psychics" felt extreme sympathy for
their condition and reported that they appeared drugged.
All interesting, some no doubt true.

At my first sitting for vipassana meditation on 6th July
92, I had my first contact with inner voice.(iv)
iv: So now you are siting for meditation.I shall give you
company and help you to see your mind.
What do you see inside yourself.
R: I see darkness with slightly brighter shades in between.
iv: Concentrate hard on ANY small point in your body. Smaller
the better.
(After some time)
What do you see?
R: Darkness is less and patches are brighter.
iv: Infact we are seeing now smaller area of body but magnified.
Now concentrate still harder to a smaller point and see
again.
R: I see bright stars in the background of darkness.
iv: Shift your point of concentration now to some other part
of the body.
R: I still see bright stars but colour is changed.
iv: Each star that you see is named KALAPA of which you had
read earlier. Guatam Buddha had told about this.He had
mentioned the size. (It is smaller than atom , electron ,
positron etc or any other particle like photon known to
modern science). This kalapa is having different colour
from the other one, because when the kalapa was being
reborn, you had a different emotion.
Infact each emotion has got its own TRANSPARENT different
colour.The depth of the colour also depends upon the
intensity of your emotion at the instant of time it was
being formed.
Now remember some one whom you intensily hate or love and
look at the kalapa.
R: The colour of the kalapa is changing to dark dark brown.
iv: You have remembered a person whom you hate. Transparent
orange is the colour of hate. All egos have colour of black.
So what you see is a mixture of these colours,depending upon
the intensity of ego and hate. Ego makes the colour semi-
opaque.
Now see the same kalapa with my sight which is emotionless
and egoless.
R: Kalapa colour is fading.
It has disappeared now.
iv: No, it has not disappeared ,but has become transparent and
invisible.
Now see it without emotion.
R: It is visible again with slight greyish colour.
iv; Your ego hue is coming in and making it visible.
Let us now withdraw our concentration to bigger area, so
that we can see more area.
R; I see many stars closly arranged in a PARTICULAR formation.
iv: Shift to other part of the body.
R: Both colour and formation has changed.
iv: Every moment each kalapa dies millions of times and is reborn.
This process is continuously been going on in trillions and
trillions of kalapas inside your body all the times.
Normally a kalapa is born of the same type as it dies at.
Like father like son.However a emotion or a thought not only
brings in additional kalapas but changes the kalapas in
the neighbourhood, thereby always intensifying your nature
and emotions if you are UNAWARE.
These formations are different becuase of forces of
emotions and ego around kalapas.
Now I am withdrawing your concentration still further.
R: I see different combinations of stars and their formations
scattered throughout.
I SEE A WHOLE UNIVERSE INSIDE MY BODY. THERE ARE MILKYWAYS
NEBULEAS GLAXIS QUASARS.
iv: Exactly , also there are black and white holes.EVOLUTION
HAS FOLLOWED THE SAME PATTERN INSIDE YOUR BODY AND

Dear friends,
Since last five years every moment of my life and hours
and hours of meditation has confirmed the above structure of mind.I have
been taught meditation so that i can change my internal universe and
dissolve away my past karmas at faster rate.
My nature as seen by me and OTHERS HAS CHANGED for
better. My health which was a wreck earlier has grown much much better.I
have been able to control kundalini erruptions(as you call it) because of
above knowledge.
As far as I am concerned I know the purpose of this life. Wisdom of not a
single moment of different lives is lost.
THERE IS NOTHING LIKE SELF REALISATION OR ENLIGHTMENT IN THE
SENSE I LHAVE BEEN READING IN K LIST....
But I am surprised at K list members. There is hundred times more WISDOM
with K members than at Himalayan caves and around Gurus.

please do refrain from making summary judgements on the sanity of

a.} Because you probably are not qualified to make such a judgement, and
even if you were qualified, I don't think a decent diagnosis would be made
over an email list.
b.} Because it's not conducive to an environment where respect for
differences is cultivated.
I have noticed a slight hostile edge to the list lately, feeling it
myself, not sure if it's a low energy crankiness or a high energy jitter. I
am presently blaming solar flares...must be something like that, to make
even the K. Cop break common nettiquite.
I would ask everyone please to take a deep breath before posting and
remember that if we didn't have differences, we would not have anything to
discuss...
c.} Because it's not funny... many members have tangoed unfortunately
with mental health professionals. Too many K. awakened folks end up
misdiagnosed and institutionalized or medicated beyond responding to the
flow of thier K.
Why the Spiritual Emergency Network exists...to rescue Kundalites from
looney bins.
I spent some very terrifying time fearing for my own sanity, in my most
recent tangle with the Void. Was not funny at all. Many members join
because they do not understand what is happening to them and fear madness.
Most of us get called crazy often enough in real life...this is supposed
to be an online oasis of understanding and tolerance.
Someone experiencing an opening and asking for help online might express
some pretty wierd stuff. It is not supportive to suggest a psychiatrist,
given the overall ignorance of psychiatry when it comes to K.
d.} I think, too, that if you are grounded in your beliefs you can
respond to Tom's quotes without resorting to name-calling. Did you consider
perhaps for a moment that he genuinely desired a response? I was enjoying
the interplay of thoughts between you two, looking forward to seeing a
collection of opposing quotes...then you dropped it flat.
(I do not have the scholarship to offer quotes..the post brouht out my
Morticia Addams humor..I am still giggling to myself imagining the Buddah
quote gracing T-shirts in the West End :^)
This is a discussion group, and all aspects of K. are open to discussion,
often it is good when extreme views are discussed by learned members.
Or novice members, asking wide eyed questions that have no single answer.
I treasure this space. It is possible that never before have so many K.
awakened people, from so many diverse locations and backgrounds, religions
and cultures have met in an equal, ongoing forum to discuss the phenomena
of K.
Imagine a hedonistic Dominatrix-Witch and a celibate Yogi being able to
discuss thier respective experiences with respect for each of thier
individual choices?
It's happened here, folks! Strange but true. Not the first time sich a
strange conversation, either...(Co-incident-ly..see the post on
Steve/etc/aliases' passing for another...Philip.)
I can spot a mysogynist a million miles away, I train men out of misogyny
they didn't even know they had until it was gone....Yogi Tom is not a
misogynist, tho the background of his cultural education is sometimes very
much so, as he was showing us.
I value every voice on this list, even the ones I disgree
with...sometimes especially the ones I disagree with, as they make me
rethink my beliefs, and so strengthen them. My world looks different from
thier shoes.
And even the crazy voices, and sometimes I am one of those, present
Goddess challenge to find love and acceptance for all, IMHO.
I think it's safe to say, if you haven't doubted your sanity, seriously
at least once, you're probably not K. awakened...

Hi Phil--
Would you mind elaborating some on the process by which the sheaths
"transmute the octave of your perceptions through the five elements" etc.?
What is the accepted correspondence between the senses and elements? In
what ways does this transmutation change the senses? Finally, where do the
senses reside on the full, multi-octave scale that is the Goddess? Thanks
in advance to Phil, others, and both.
