All these kind of psychic phenomena and sensitivity to various things
are part of a bigger picture. I found that although it was all a bit
haphazard and confusing at the time, that in retrospect I can see a
clear pattern of sdevelopment of the senses - first they became very
sensitive, then gradually refined, then psychic and the - in Buddhist
terms - empty or totally pure. So there is a hierarchy of development of
the senses, including the sixth one, the brain and conditioned mind in
the sense of thoughts and feelings etc.
Just observe, enjoy a little, but don't get attached. Try not to let on
to non-yogis what is happening as people can have pretty low tolerance
of psychic/purification processes that are beyond their own experience.
Alternatively, might end up abusing these psychic phenomena....not a
good idea as can get in deep water very quickly. Why be Uri Geller when
one can be Buddha ?
Purification of intellect and emotions is the best as one is drawn to
the most pure forms of culture and relationship in every aspect of one's
life. Language, thought. feeling, erception, all become a sheer joy to
experience and share with others at every moment, and provide safest
foundation for further meditation.
Even this passes for have to go beyond purity itself if one wants to be
free.
Hope this puts the psychic phenomena and sensitivity in context a
little. Regards Yogi Tom.

Hello everybody!
Just want to send greatings from Denmark. We have a network here, and have
been in contact with about 200 people touched by the kundalini process. We
give information and try to help those who are having problems along the
way. Among other things we have a newsletter that has been out 10 times
now, and we have had an article in the danish medical journal and various
newspapers, so information is spreading.
It´s nice to hear from other parts of the world,
lots of light

Great fun.
An excellent post sent by your higher self to exactly the right place.
The scientific side of you has been sent something that will stretch its
sensibilities.
You are an illustration of your own development.
Now your post:
Why should you be sure of K members?
Most of us are completely unsure of ourselves
but we accept uncertainty.
We are completely unsensible
and we sense this is right
You see the K list too is an illustration of itself
those who deny it
see nothing
those who accept it
gain acceptance
and those ready for change . . .
- it's cracking - - -

Dear Lobster,
Whew! Lobster, you are really pushing my envelope. There is huge wisdom in
the exercise. Thank you. My first thought is that I don't know anything
important. But then the exercise is relativistic so here are the first 5
things that came up. I know there are additional important things, but these
are the ones that came to me first.
1. Hope keeps us going; hope activates the interest-excitement continuum.
2. Certainty of expectation may give joy to hope.
3. Pain arises from knowledge as a result of expectational mismatch
(knowledge structures include the need for love, hopes, desires, beliefs,
meaning, schema, scripts, etc.).
4. Love is the way to hope with certainty.
5. Primal love unfulfilled wounds the emerging self, is painfully
experienced as unloveworthiness of the self or shame, alienates the self
from the self and others, functionally disconnects the self's awareness from
the part of the brain that experiences love, home, and God, and makes it
really hard to connect with anything beyond the self (so says my left brain).

Thanks for the great info, but to all those out their, the fact that my crown
was first to greet me doesn't mean I'm super god-like. Perhaps it's the
difference between open and ripe'n ready to open, I can't tell anymore.
Also, it's taken me almost two years to get even close to what my first
spontaneous K experience was like. Also, my experiences are extremely short
lived. Well, anywho, give thanks for what you've got, most people are trying
to be excited about life via sports and talk shows.
Thanks again Lobster

This is the funniest post I have seen so far...I know just how funny
because I have run across scientists myself who are not just unable to
understand where I'm coming from, but feel an uncontrollable need to try
and eradicate the kundalini experience and perhaps me too from the face
of the earth as if it was some kind of poison or virus. They just cannot
handle the thought, let alone the experience that there is an irrational
cosmic force within us all just waiting to tear the ego to pieces. So if
we get a positive response, it would be quite an event......
More inappropriate postings please, maybe we should draw out the poison
of the reductive scientific mind by infiltrating lists all over the
net...a kind of spiritual subversion Vietcong style. Any thoughts out
there ? - Regards Yogi Tom

Well done.
Was thinking this and then you said it (it only slipped my mind)
Just remember spiritual subversion can only be done as an act
of compassion.
You are not trying to harm people or interfere with their sleep
patterns.
If anybody wishes to follow this path they need to be very thick skinned
(or shelled as in Lobster)
You must not engage in any abuse, intolerance or knee jerk negativity.
So where to start;
Well how about placing this (or something similar)
somewhere and telling us of your results:
Dear Friends,
Thank you for all your kind messages
none of which I understand
Many of you will probably die
but not this week
Anyway many condolonces on your future death.
Perhaps the preceding is not relevant
but the following is the same.
Many people have talked to trees
but they grow anyway
from this I would like to remind people
that it is no accident
that they accidently came into being
If you have any proof of non-existence
please ignore your self
otherwise your cooperation is appreciated
but not essentail
We wish you every success
in your further failure to comprehend
and every opportunity
for real success.

Terry brings up a good point
If Nirvana is infinite, perminant bliss, unconditional love, then is it a
middle path, is it possible? K fills me with infinite bliss and
unconditional love, but my K last for only shot times. I would assume that a
perminatly raised K would make the sensations perminant and therefore bring
"Nirvana". When training, especially with the psychic/wiccan energy usage,
both my energy, and the dark/light aspects of the energy would go in cycles.
I now have a light but steady base of pleasant energy occasioned by more
intense energy. I almost never have dark energy anymore and it makes me feel
alittle incomplete, like it's a part of me, and I should draw from it
accordingly, but that could contradict alot of how I view my use of energy,
my attemps to energize the light aspect.
Perhaps this is what grey wizards go through when they try to become white
wizards. Any suggestions, did I move to white wizard too soon. I fear that
if I go back to grey, my energy could be too high and I could become a dark
wizard. Mortals die, so nothing matters, but nothing matters means we should
feel free, freedom invites pleasure, true pleasure requires love,
unconditional love is/leads to Nirvana, I'm here for Nirvana, K brings
Nirvana, K requires energy, dark energy is abundant, nothing matters,
ect......
Lotsa Love

It was probably my favorite drug, battling out with shrooms.
It definatly effects your energy, it helps you release/feel you energy
better. Try smoking and doing tai-chi, or slow moving energy work. The main
problems are that it's illegal, and your energy is almost untouchable when
your out. Try getting your easiest chakra going when your high, then repeat
when you've come down. After awhile, reduce your smoking, but try to get the
chakra going anyway. It takes a long time but it's worth it. It's still
nice to smoke now and then, and since my energy level is higher without the
smoke, and my tollerance has fallen, the energy work is fantastic. I've been
there, and I know how tough it is to slow down with the smoking. I was
pretty bad about it and smoked repetedly throughout the day and night. Cost
me a fortune, and I was getting some pretty cazy deals. Well, anyway, try to
replace your drug induced highs with self induced highs, it's a much cleaner
trip, and much easier to deal with others.
Aaron :)
Ps. Are you smoking while reading this!!!

Dear Tom, Ithink I was taught to satart yoga asanas on the right side (ladies
start with the left) With respect to the warm up (pushing the blood up
towards the heart )
right arm first, then right foot and whole leg ,then left arm ,left foot and
leg. Then all the rest of them.Interesting that in the Orthodox religion the
men stand ,and I mean stand, on the right and ladies on the left.
While "my" K starts with the left foot it's in it's infancy
and I've never concluded anthing from it,.although now I suppose it could BE
my feminine side, energy wise if that makes any sense. The rest of the K
energy is really wild . Did you ever have any experiences with small muscle
pulls or tears just below the cervical vertebrea where the shoulder is or a
little below, usually on the left side.No matter how carefull I am ,for 20
years I had a series of these pains there ,usually last for three days.
Thanks for your input. dchern

Dear Lobster,
First, my self has been in hiding for over a half-century
That seems long enough
It is time to come out
Post awayI will tame my fear of shame and learn to live with it

The primal love of which I speak, is manifest in the symbiotic merger that
takes place in the mother-neonate relationship and carries the child onto
its emotional life trajectory. When this love is lacking, the child
experiences the event as shame. The neuroarchetecture of the brain is
affected, as is brain chemistry, in a way that blocks access to the
emotional systems involved in feeling the presents of something greater than
self or outside of self. This dynamic begins in infancy and the results are
very enduring, usually affecting one´s entire life. Empathy is compromised
and it makes it difficult to love anyone, beginning with the self.
The answer to your question is Yes, my self does want to emerge
The part that seems to be in hiding is the spiritual
I will hug a tree and tell it I love it out loud (when no one is around)
Sincerely,
Ken
