These things have worked for me at various times:

* take a cool shower
* ground the energy by holding a powerful magnet that has
some kind of cord attached to it and the other end of
the cord is buried in the ground
* have someone rub their hands together and then while
you are lying down, have them run their hands over
your body (about 2 " from the body) in a downward motion
* do something creative like paint, draw, sing, etc

Hope these help,

Karol Ann

Hi everyone,

I have found that grounding myself helps a lot. Any kind of physical
exercise, work or outdoor activity generally lessens the symptoms. Also,
any kind of non-spiritual mental activity also helps. Sometimes it is easy
to become totally enveloped in the kundalini mystique to the exclusion of so
much else in the physical world. When my itching gets too overwhelming, I
look to the physical for relief and it generally helps. Sometimes if you are
outside you can visualize the excess energy moving down through your body to
the earth below to be purified. That has worked for me a number of times.

Speaking of excess energy, has anyone had any experience with your energy
shorting out your computer or keyboards? I have gone through three
keyboards in ten days and there is nothing wrong with my computer. I also
have electrical disturbances with my computer at work only when I am using
it. When anyone else uses it, it works fine. The MIS guys are going nuts
with this one. Also, if anyone has had similar experiences, what did you do
to solve the problem. This many keyboards certainly disrupts the budget,
big time.

Judy

What about blowing out light bulbs? I go through about 5-8 a week around my
house.

Yeah, Judy, I've had trouble with my computer too, but nothing like what
you're experiencing. Last year, my terminal nearly caught fire. I've
never heard of that happening before. During specific energy surges, I
have blown a bulb or two in my time.

It seems that the answer to all the symptoms depends on removing
blockages, allowing the energy to flow, and ground.

Hi all--

>THe worst symptom I have had thus far is the dreaded itching. (from Karole Ann)

> I've had no bliss, but mostly periods of gut-wrenching
sobbing. I think that I've made it through the period where it felt
like I was dying and going insane. My heart goes out to those who
stumble upon this with little preparation. from John Petty

> That evening, I was just drifting off to sleep when I had the
sensation that my body was spinning rapidly - sort of like a pig on a spit.
from Jean Tracy

>Most often the visions are accompanied by
>a strong jolt and a loud "pop" sound that I hear and feel internally.

I've had all these and more going on for a long time and I've just
realized after reading everyone's posts that kundalini has been working in
my life for a long time, and certainly began to manifest 12 years ago when I
first started learning to do enery work. Since I'd only heard about the very
dramatic spine-shaking, vision-seeing extremes, I didn't realize that long
before I had that kind of experience, kundalini was already moving.

I remember when I went through my first Reiki initiation, I had such intense
unbearable itching that night that I almost went to the hospital. The only
thing that kept me from going was that I knew it had something to do with
the Reiki energy. My Reiki master was brand new at being a master and had
never encountered the itching phenomena. I look back on it now and am pretty
sure it was a major release of toxins that my body had been storing, and
they went straight out from the lymph nodes, fat cells and liver to my skin.
I also had a huge herpes cold sore that erupted on my mouth that same night;
so fast it looked like time-lapse photography. I knew that the herpes virus
lives dormant in the lower spinal chord ( that's how it gets it's name
"herpes" it's from the greek word for "snake" because it lives hiding in the
spinal column like a snake!) and so I figured that the Reiki energy moving
in my spine had disturbed the herpes. (has anyone else had a herpes outbreak
with K movement?)

I had the sobbing and other releases for years before I found help with them
and it was really hard, but somehow I always knew it was OK. I was so
relieved to find RC counseling, where the point view is that those episodes
of sobbing, shaking, etc. are evidence of profound healing at work, and now
it's equally good to know that the vehicle moving the healing is kundalini,
and that all the other strangenesses ( the excess horniness is almost
unbearable!) are part of that, too.

thanks again everybody for sharing

Try salt baths--or sea salt, epsom salt and baking soda in combo for your
itching. Salt can change your charge pretty fast.

Hi Patti:

I'm an continually amazed at the symptoms that seem to be universal
instead of just my own!

The outbreaks you described, I have been told, are the body's way of
removing toxins.

I have the electrical sensation on my upper lip at times. Edgar Cayce
said that it meant that we were to receive a message from the outer
realms. Sometimes I wish they'd just sent a telegram *8-)

I also have back problems and would like to know how you all handle it.

For the lumbar problems, I used to control it with strict exercizing almost
every day. But lately, I've been feeling more tired since I can't sleep much
more than 4 hours a night. So I've been more lenient on the exercises. But I
wish to go back on a more strict schedule, since I didn't feel my back way
back then...

I tried melatonin and various herbs such as valerian and they work a little,
but I think they're just crutches...

Any suggestions out there?

Subject: Re: back pain

I have a padded piano bench at the foot of my bed. Three or four times a
day I lie on it and stretch. I put my legs straight up in the air and the
pressure from that seems to straighten out my lower spine. I drop my head
and sholders and arms down the other end. I have had no lower back pain
since I started this routine about 5 years ago. Before that there were
frequent trips to the chiropractor. It feels like a good adjustment.
Sometimes I feel and/or hear that pop one can feel at the chiropractor's.
This takes less than 30 seconds and can be done frequently throughout the
day. Morning, evening and afternoon are perhaps a minimum. Oh ... I am
about 2 inches taller now as a seeming side effect.

For upper back and sholders etc. I keep small weights by the tv and
stretch with them every which way. Toutching my toes with them seems to
stretch out the lower back but I only do this when I feel the need because
of discomfort in my upper back.

Sometimes I also do some stretching exercises in bed in the morning. They
probably have yoga names but I seem to have come by them intuitively. My
daughter used to laugh at me for trying to exercise in bed, but it seems
to do the trick for me. If nothing else I am very limber by the time I
actually get up.

I hope this is of some help.

Mary
