What is it exactly that you'd want to escape? And to where or what?

There is someone I know who has until more recently always believed that
everybody are trying to conform her into being something that she is not,
and if she doesn't go along with she will be kicked out. That's a very
painful reality to live in.

It's not mine. But I have gone through a different realities too. One in
particular was very prominent in my life, in that I had to be a rebel, I had
to defy the ideas and values of others and create my own, or I would fall
down into some sort of low level existance along with "them" It resulted in
a lot of tension in my life that I always had to find things to identify
with that were opposite of the "system" or "mass conciousness" I did it as a
kid even. Now I see that it was an experience to learn and grow, creating
contrast to something so I would eventually expand more into balance!

So if you feel that there is a system controlling you, maybe it's an
oppurtunity to grow. Most definitely. If you conform to everybody else's
ideas and what you see in the news or whatnot, it is indeed a limiting
reality. When you are just conforming to something that is very limited, you
aren't often aware that the limitation is there. But when you become aware
of the limitations, things start happening. But when I look back at it
myself, it was not really so much about the "system's" limitations, but my
own limitations. An extreme polarity was created, I wanted to break free
from the "system" as well. Very little at the time did I realize that the
process was breaking free of my OWN system! At the end of that cycle of
extreme polarity was a realization that there is nothing to struggle
against. It was just an action propelling my awareness out of my own limited
system. Now there is more ahead, other systems to expand beyond!

When I go to the tax office, the bank, police station or pay the bills, more
often than not I see people who are doing the best in their lives, playing
their roles, expanding and growing in their way. Some people are bright and
helpful, others are cranky to such a degree that I feel my power chakra
twisting into a little knot until I can quickly get back into a more
grounding presence. At that time I instead see a stressed or uncomfortable
person, just as well doing the best of his or her ability.

The system is humanity, the fears, joys, the process to grow and expand in
wisdom and understanding. I do not see it much when looking at the news or
reading statistics, but I see it in the eyes of the bankman or the woman
rushing through the train to check tickets.

With love
Gustaf
