Ok!

First, sit down in a meditation posture that's comfortable for you, any way
you are used to is fine. Spend some time with making yourself comfortable
and relaxed in the posture, keep the eyes closed. (If you have your own way
of relaxing into the meditation, of course do that, otherwise I have some
simple suggestions here) Become aware of the whole body and the posture of
meditation, the legs and their contact with the floor, the arms, the chest,
the abdomen.. The back, the back is straight and relaxed. Relax the neck and
let all the tension melt away from the muscles in your face.

Become aware of the whole body at the same time, visualize the whole body.
After a while, become aware of the breath, the natural, relaxed breath. Just
observe the breath as it goes in and out.

AUM chanting.
Now, take a deep breath, and chant Aaaaaaauuuuuuummmmmmmm for as long as
your breath lasts, then inhale and do it again. Focus all the attention on
the vibrations in your body, the vibrations in everything, feel AUM vibrate
throughout your whole being. If you start thinking about anything else, let
it come, but go back as soon as possible to be aware of AUM.

How long?
You can count either with a 108 mala, if you have one, and do an amount of
rounds that feels good to you, or you can also count with your fingers. Or
set an alarm (A gentle one if you have it) In the beginning 10-15 minutes
is usually good, but you can keep on longer if you feel like it.

Ending the practice.
After you are done with the chanting, just sit quietly for a while and feel
the vibrations as they still resonate through your body. (Ahhh! I can feel
them even while typing this, wonderful!) Then go back out of the meditation
as you usually do, make sure to do it slowly, the breath, the body, etc.

Variations.
If you feel that a certain area needs extra work, you can focus on the
vibrations there during the chanting, for example the third eye or your
heart space. It's even more powerful when it's done in groups, but it's
still quite powerful done alone. From personal experience, mantra chanting
has the effect of "shaking loose" stuff within me, both deeper inside, and
from the area.

Let me know how it works out for you!

With love
Gustaf

>anyone is interested I'd be more than happy to explain how to do it,
it's
>really simple (but oh so powerful)

Go on then, I'm interested.
