Now there has been much discussion on the sanctity of reiki practice,
regarding public display of the symbols, money issues, and attachments to lower level
energies. But i don't believe that's cause for reiki to just 'go away'.

To answer an earlier question, reiki is seen clairvoyantly entering the
practitioner's field through the top of the head at the sahasrara, travelling down
through the sixth, fifth, and fourth chakra where it stabilizes, and out
through the arms of the practitioner. Reiki also continues to flow down through the
body, out the feet, and into the Earth (this is necessary for the
practitioner to be grounded).

I like the discussion about the 'marriage' between the moon/sun energies.
Recently in meditation, i've been finding it easier for that marriage to occur
between my second and third chakra, centering it there for awhile as a globe of
light from energies coming from above and below, and THEN when balanced,
bringing it up into my heart chakra for further meditation. It feels much better =)
