TOO much of this stuff can keep you from being a citizen in a real world that's going to pot. Something for all to think about -- karma yoga, if you will........Get out and fight some good fight; there's plenty of 'em!

  Dear Rick,

You sound more than a little depressed. I think getting some endorphins
activated by doing some exercise would be helpful.

  >Buddha says desire and attachment are the cause of all suffering, so that's
  >great, some
  >self validation that i'm on the right path.

Well, my take is that when we desire something and/or are attached to it, we
fight against the natural flow of things. That doesn't mean we can't *enjoy*
  living, however!

  >Is desire replaced by Self connected to the Great Spirit, who guides us, or
  >is this a false
  >understanding. How can life function without desire ?

It is simply the acceptance of being.

  >Is "desire" and "sensual desire" the same thing ?

  I would say no.

  >Are there resources out there that can help me out here, or anyone ?

I would stop meditating for a while and get physically active. Let K energy
  do the work for you.

  >I feel lost.

I think it important for you to get the juices flowing, Rick! Even if it's
simply going out for a walk.

  Love, Hillary
