Fascinating! When kundalini awakened, I was suddenly compelled to work with crystals and the vibrations in my left hand were amazing. I had never had any incidents or mixing or attraction to crystals, nor worked with them. I began making jewelry and would carefully select them by measuring the strength and energy flows with my left hand. One I made, with many greeish hues and malachite I loaned and this fella (I didn't even know him but a sudden upwelling of love led me to bestow it) later told me it burned his neck. I then did not want it returned for some reason. Sometimes I can identify stones by the feeling in my hand, not by sight.

You're right about laboradite and opal and also ionite; they are very powerful for me and i did not know about neptunian energy. In the beginning, many crystals were given to me as gifts from children. My son found a stone of the composite of the mountain where I lived as a child; it is not a sea stone at all yet he gathered it from the ocean. He also gave me an amethyst on my birthday and it is my birthstone. Another old rocky stone was a gift from the sea. It's quite big, heavy, molten and I thought it a meteorite. But a gelogist told me it is a ballast stone, greenstone, probably from Wales or Scotland. Mia, do you know anything of greenstones? And jasper, as it often makes me feel angry and disturbed. I can hardly touch it tho it is easier now..

During this time, I continually placed stones on my forehead where I feel a strong pull and at the base of my feet during mediation or yoga. All this I did just because it felt like the thing to do.

Soladite feels grounding to me now, as does howlite.
