Lovely rita,

It seems as if your question provokes an answer for myself. Though I doubt it was your intent.

Me: It's as if my best friend has discovered a new
one...
You: Can you clarify what that statement means? Not sure
exactly what you intend to say.

It brings to thought two quotations, the first I believe is TS Eliot (a fave): concerning our quest to discover our origin and suddenly discover "the footprints are our own." The second is from the Christian Bible re: better to have remained in slumber than to awaken and then return to the former state prior to awakening. What a feeling of abandonment.

What I discovered so in kundalini was my own divinity and my connection to the divine in all other: trees, humans, animals, children, sand, water, crystals.... Since this 'sense' only 'returns' in minute doses, and I suppose since I so relate it to the divine natures it would logically concur that my best friend is the divine me who seems to have abandoned me.

I recall how vividly I attempted to describe my feelings during the splendor of kundalini...and how difficult, hence, others difficulty in following me or understanding. How does one describe a universe encapsulated in a grain of sand or a universe so connected that each and all fall together as sand? As a keon, it seems.

Logically (falling to math), the sum of the parts is equal to the whole. In Spirit, in kundalini, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. I know the first part; I emoted the second. Yet the knowledge of the emotion remains.

The responses here have given me much to ponder, even my own. Indeed, when the student is ready the teacher shall appear. I sometimes forget the teacher is also Self.

Sidebar: I think it so clever and synchronistic that MS Word offers kindling as a replacement word for kundalini. Apropos....

Namaste',
Sunny
