How about this: Because human beings are thinking with half a Christ-God-mind, half an ego-centered mind. Some don't believe what they're thinking. some don't believe what they're hearing. Most don't acknowledge Who They Are.

You should know this, David, from the Course in Miracles. I'm listening to the tapes again, BTW, after coming down from my "awakened-euphoria" state.
