    Synchronicity speaks... :)

A Shaman will ask a question in a forest, and listen... any sound, is
taken as a "yes". Silence is a "no." The response is usually immediate, and
the sound will be felt as well as heard.

The universe, responds to your thoughts. Some thoughts will trigger the
universe to confirm truth with a sound... and the sound will be *noticed*
by the seeker, even if it is a sound that usually happens often and is ignored.

My furnace and refrigerator start up many times a day... usually
without my paying the least attention, but occasionally I will be thinking
about something and I will *notice* the sound of it starting, as a
counterpoint response to my thought... a confirmation. Sometimes I have to
remember what the thought was!

I notice these confirmations, and mentally file them away as
information, but I rarely act on them, preferring the follow the inner
voice primarily.
I know that the outside reflects the inside, and so synchronicities can
be self created, and the interpretations perhaps well off the mark. I pay
attention to when synchronicities happen in threes. Three points mark a
direction, a location.

I also find that sometimes these small sounds, or other environmental
sounds will knock me into a different state of consciousness, especially if
they come in meditation. It is like they impact me physically.

My discernment... genuine spiritual truths give my body a similar
reaction to what you describe, rushes and tingles.
