You're going to have to resolve this for yourself. Every great being who has
ever lived, has been the victim of one form of scandal or another. Jesus
declaired "I and the Father are One". Because of this, He was crucified and
was accused of blasphemy. Many of the great Sufi saints of the Islamic
traddition were hung because they danced in ecstasy while proclaiming
"analhaq", which in Arabic means "I'm God"! If we purify our desire for a
true guru, God will send the guru to us.
