When I began the design for the page, I did a search for Buddha
images, and the best source I found, was Ebay! The hand image is one of a
set of two, that are traditional Tibetan brass front door handles. Same
mudra, one up and one down. I altered the colour to match the site... and
the site colours are upper chakra colours; throat, third eye, and crown.
The commentary (which I wish I had copied) said that the gestures are
welcoming, peace, and for banishing evil. Receptivity and safety.
Elsewhere, it is written that it is the mudra for peace, concentration,
relaxation and wisdom: spiritual wisdom and mental clarity. It communicates
a calming, peaceful and welcoming energy to the site. A similar mudra is
the gesture for debate... communication.
I liked the resemblance to the conventional gesture for "OK." Makes it
very accessible for westerners.
There is a mudra in the Fire Serpent tantra logo, too. It is the
gesture for peace, fearlessness, and preaching or teaching... but I did not
know that, when I did the original art in 1994 that I used as the basis of
the logo... but my intuitive impressions were close! I meant it to signify
peace, harmlessness and the transmission of spiritual/mystical knowledge...
the pentacle in the center of the palm.

I do not know a lot about mudras, but I am told I use them often,
naturally.

Isn't it wonderful, how Kundalini guides us?
I think it is a mudra, though it is often shown as ring finger to the
base of the thumb... and I think it is related to abundance. That you are
getting both mudras together is perfectly appropriate for your situation. A
search of "Mudras" on google gives many pages, with pictures. Not all of
them agree.

Thank you for your kind comments on my new site. It is still under
construction, some links are to pages not yet created, and some essays are
still being edited, or are missing titles, or the background is the wrong
colour... I find errors every time I look, and having been immersed in the
creative process of the site for two months, I'm starting to run out of
energy for completion. Taking a list break, to get some time away and clear
my head.

It turned out much larger than I had originally planned, over 100
pages. Some of them are lifted directly from the K section of
domin8rex.com, some are from my email archives, but the majority were
written recently. At this point, I have kind of gotten lost in it, and I am
not seeing it clearly anymore, to remember what pages are done and which
are still blank, and which ones I pasted rough content into and have not
edited yet, and which ones contain stuff that is already covered on another
page.

The pages that are missing completely are easy, Zenu link tester lists
them for me, but it does not tell me about editing errors or pages that
exist but have no content.

I'd appreciate you or other readers letting me know about errors or
inconsistencies you find. I have tried to go through the site linearly,
checking each page but I get distracted and end up creating more new pages!
My creative ADD brain!

My apologies for not getting back to you regarding spirit possession...
the subject in general, is so large as to be daunting... covering positive
and negative types, both plus all the different types of spirits and
invocation methods, would require writing a book!
With regards to your personal experiences... there is nothing to be
fixed. You opened yourself to spiritual guidance and you are getting it, as
you asked for. Your intellectual ego wanting to know the identity of the
Masters who occupy you is just more of the same issue from before. :)
Still, sometimes if you ask "Who am I?" inquiry will give results... but
the results can be unpredictable. I once asked "Who am I?" in a situation
where I appeared to be channelling my Grandfather as an officer in the Boer
War, and fell into the Void... the Self.

I mentioned in our previous thread, about how I tend to become whatever
is needed, for the student. Your possession experiences are very
similar. Teacher training. Goddess provides.

Speaking of which... I would like to use some of our correspondence on
the site, do I have your consent to use selected portions of your side of
it? The trouble with editing emails into essays, is that they sometimes do
not make much sense when taken out of context of what they were responding
to. I will provide a link to your site as reference.

Also, I think it was Rick, who asked me to describe how different
chakras feel? I have not forgotten you, but that too is a big
subject... it depends on the individual. The post you were responding to,
commented that the second chakra can feel sexual... but only to the
unawakened, or those near the beginning of the path. It changes, later.
Hopefully, the chakras section of the website will cover it eventually.

Ah, the sun is shining... summer is the wrong time to be at the computer!

        Blessings...
