While agreeing with a most of what Rick said.
I go along with Ken on this.
The body is the temple of God.
My favourite teacher Eckhart Tolle recomends that we become very aware of
our energetic body. This takes away energy from thought and auromatically
stills the mind. Eckhart is very clear on this and recomends it as a portal
into the Infinite, conectedness with our true self which he some times calls
Presence, eternal life itself, which is what we are. Waves of the Ocean of
"God"
He also points to the Now as being the only place that realization can
occour.
The ego takes us from past to future It dosent like staying in this moment.
One way to disolve the ego is by remaining as fully aware of this moment as
we can be.
I believe that K is all powerful and the tool of God in evolving the human
race.
The only danger is that it can become a spiritual ego trip.
(mine is awakened yours isent. Im chosen by God your not)
Im sure that dosent apply to anyone here.
All labels and concepts must disolve and if we are not carefull we can get
hung up on being special through being K awakened.
What convinced me of the advantage of having K awakened by a Guru was the
satatement made by him. "With Kundalini awakened you are in the taxi being
driven by Shakti Kundalini going home to God." With that I believe that If I
am led to " The power of Now by Eckhart" it is the doing of K for my highest
good. I surrender to whatever form this moment takes in the field of
consciousness. I dont resist anything. It is I let it be. I suppose the
path for me is now Advaita but it is Shakti that put that thought in my
mind. I know that I am not the dooer, at least I have an understanding of
enlightenment as far as it is possible for the mind to achieve this. I await
the revealing of full realization, which we all are allready, in the Now.
