Dear Bhavin,

I'm sorry you feel attacked. These are interesting questions, and perhaps
because of Eastern traditions of relying on spiritual masters, versus the more
eclectic and independent attitudes about learning of the West we see things
from very different perspectives.

I wouldn't take anything on the internet as gospel, but as Muktananda said,
"Though we talk about awakening the Kundalini, the truth is that everyone's
Kundalini is already awake." p. 15 So in a certain real sense no one can really
be ignorant of Kundalini, and one can gain wonderful insights from the
strangest places. :))

I wonder how much our own preconceptions influence our judgment in spiritual
matters. Perhaps an excellent master or teacher to you, given your criteria,
would not be for me. Or perhaps you are more discerning! :)) Actually
desiring a master or teacher is rather alien to me. Just like a lover, after a
certain length of time the warts will usually make an appearance.

As Ramana Maharshi wrote "The Guru may be internal or external. He may
reveal Himself internally or communicate externally." The internal guru is the one
I rely on. During the first two months of my awakening I stayed away from
books on the subject, because I didn't want to color or influence my experience.
I felt the energy itself would lead me where I needed to go.

I wonder what information you are actually seeking since from your wonderful
descriptions you are obviously K awake.

Love, Hillary

"...You know how far away you are from Madras. Can you tell me how far away
you are from the Self in order that you should seek it?"
