I agree with Richard. There is no evidence to support this. Legion are
those who have kindness returned with abuse, imprisonment, violation,
robbery and such. Even King David writes in his Psalms that the wicked
are rewarded and the good suffer.

Life is not fair. As the Buddhists would say, slightly paraphrased,
"Life sucks." It is the first noble truth.
