Dear Jude,

I think for most people the energy is always there once awakened. Sometimes
it seems to go dormant for a while, though. And it seems, at least for me,
to go in cycles--stronger, for instance, during the full moon. But you are
right about the "usually's" :))

Have you tried Hatha Yoga? Keeping the energy flowing smoothly simply by
keeping the body supple might help. When I feel pain in an area (one not due
to a medical cause) I presume K is working to clear something. Perhaps if
you think about the pain as K working on a problem, the discomfort will
become more palatable and you can work with it rather than against it.
Others here probably have a more practical solution, though.

Some people do seem to have "top down" openings. It may be more of a Tao
energy process or a Christian one.

I experience the explosions but mine are like shards of colored glass, not
the huge white light. I think we all seem to experience the energy in
somewhat different ways.

Well, your experience is really the more classic Kundalini awakening than
his--being more centered in the spine.

I'm pretty much always aware of it, but I've generally experienced it as
bypassing the middle chakras and going from perineum to exploding in the
brain. After more than 6 years of the energy it does seem to be a little
more gentle and evenly flowing though.
