I think the connection may simply result from the focus of awareness
on the spine, which occurs naturally when dealing with back problems or
chiro treatment. Simultaneous spiritual activity may increase the
likelihood of kundalini events occuring.

If you're looking for a more spiritual approach to healing, you might
benefit from Network Chiropractic treatment. This is an alternative form
of treatment, in which nerve pulses are "aligned" in various parts of
the body. Network Chiro practitioners tend to be more spiritually
oriented, and more likely to have an understanding of kundalini and
other energy issues. In my case, Network treatment resulted in instant
and lasting relief from severe back pain. I believe it may also have
related to a subsequent increase in k activity, but it's impossible for
me to establish definite links. Everything is connected at some level...

Here's a cool page on Network Chiro:

From an old post in the archives:

"Network has the advantage of assuming that kundalini release is a
likely result of receiving treatment. (There's little or no "bone
popping" in Network, by the way, it's an energy techique designed to
assist the body in releasing distortions and blockages in the central
nervous system, and the primary kundalini channel.)"

Another great resource for anyone with back problems is the book
"Somatics" by Thomas Hanna. This is basically a system of "stretching
exercises" which are mostly based on modified yoga asanas. Breathing and
movement are used together to "reawakening the mind's control of
movement, flexibility, and health". I've been using this system to keep
myself functional for some time now. There's also some evidence that
these exercises ALSO act as a "K- trigger". A Somatics page:

Hope you find this useful. Acceptance and surrender play a large part
in any healing process... Forward with love! Michael
