I do not dispute this. However, are you, too, saying that those
things are good, or should we rather introduce the term "evil", and
define it as "misguided actions performed from the state of delusion
and ignorance of the true nature of reality, that cause misery and
suffering and hinder the manifestation of the Divine qualities in the
world"?
I would say that evil is. We can observe it. We can choose it, or
not. By acknowledging its existence, we can observe it as a possible
choice, a possible mode of existence, which is a result of the
absence of true knowledge. You can argue that it does not exist, for
its definition is negative, but the definitions of darkness or cold
are also negative, but we still use them to describe certain
phenomena.

Yes, I know that most people on the list are Americans, and that you
probably had it with the Christians from them Dixie marshes waving
their Bibles and spitting fire and brimstone at them evil sinners,
but to exclude the perfectly good words from the vocabulary just
because some fools use them in a wrong context - well, it would be as
if I cut my dick off just because stupid rednecks have dicks. :)

The nonexistence of evil is a popular New Age belief, like, there are
only the various forms of vibrations of energy. However, the darkness
can hardly be called a form of light - it is the absence of light.
Likewise, evil is the absence of good, of light, where all that is
good originates from God. The evil is, therefore, the choice for
non-God, for darkness, ignorance, illusion etc. And I don't buy into
those theories saying that the evil bastards should be felt sorry
for, because they probably just reflect the evils done unto them in
past - I, too, have suffered great evils, and it made me reject all
that is evil. Poor Saddam Hussein, his stepfather used to beat him up
when he was a kid, and he just had to become an evil tyrant who used
to test the poisons on those who opposed him, teaching his sons to
rip open the pregnant women. Newsflash: my father, too, used to beat
me up every day when I was a kid, and I chose to practice yoga,
attain enlightenment and teach people.
So, I think that those things are merely the excuses, not
justifications. If one chooses to be evil and do evil things, he will
invariably find some justification for his acts ("I had an unhappy
childhood so I had to become a gangster"). Well, there is a very
important thing called "free will", and it is the thing people use to
decide which course to take based on the things that happened to
them. Blaming the frequency of vibration, bad karma and other things
doesn't change the fact that people have the ability to choose the
form of their existence.
Half the people on this list were probably raped when they were kids,
and the other half were regularly beaten up. That's the stats I came
up with after being on the list for a couple of years. And guess
what: they don't go around raping and killing people. They made their
choices, not for the evil, but for the good.
