If it were only that simple. It would certainly make my job as a
registered nurse a lot easier. Traditional medicine is built on a
mechanistic view of the body. It certainly does not help the body in all
cases all the time and sometimes can be quite detrimental.

I disagree. I am the driver of the machine in some sense. It serves me.
It is my own awareness or the lack of it that determines the
functionality and usefulness of my body.

I disagree. Who is having those thoughts? I created those thoughts. I am
the creatrix. It is my belief systems that creates this body I live in.
My body is my creation. Only I am responsible for it.

I am not my thoughts. I am the amused watcher of my thoughts.

This is not true for all people but may be for some. Transformation of
consciousness can be initiated in different ways, sometimes without
apparent or discernible cause.
